A tranquil island getaway

4 of 5
Exactly as advertised and looks like the pictures. Recommended for families and friends that value the quietness of the surrounding area. The house is on top of a hill with ocean views and gorgeous sunsets. The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and the second floor master suite has panoramic views of the ocean. It wasn’t necessary for my entire stay to use the air conditioning as the entire house was cooled by gentle trade winds but if necessary they are there. It appears that these whisper quiet units are brand new. The location is perfect-you can access everywhere easily by taxi. It was just a short taxi ride to a quaint, vibrant beach town with a large selection of restaurants, beach bars and scuba shops. An excellent reef with an amazing amount of variety that is swimmable from shore or a short boat ride. The hosts were so incredibly accommodating and approachable. They know the entire island which proved very helpful for things to do and places to go. Definitely will return and have recommended this house to my family and friends.

Beautiful villa with exquisite grounds!

5 of 5
We chose Sea Pool Villas to celebrate our 28th anniversary and were so glad that we did! The villa was beautiful, private, open and comfortable, and the grounds were absolutely first class. Brigitta & Jaw went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and couldn't have been better hosts! Jaw delivered fresh fruit daily which was a special treat and both were so helpful in providing us with information about the island. The bird watching right off of our patio was wonderful and we even got to see a ray jump out of the water while we were eating breakfast! The palapas were a great way to relax and enjoy the true spirit of the Caribbean. Leaving Sea Pool Villas was difficult for so many reasons, but most of all, we felt like we were saying goodbye to long time friends, even though we just met Jaw & Brigitta 9 days before. Highly recommend staying at Sea Pool Villas while in Roatan.

Good Time

4 of 5
We were on Roatan for two weeks during February. This was our second trip here and since we had used Roatan Life Rentals before with great success, we decided to rent from them again. They are great and were quick to deal with any issues we had. Our blender wasn't working...and I wanted Pina Coladas...they got us a new one immediately! And, we had a small family of ants who had decided they liked our kitchen (you have to remember you are in the jungle) and Roatan Life came over right away and took care of the problem. This house is in a really nice location, with constant breezes that keep the bugs down, and easy access to West Beach. You really don't even need a car, though it was nice to have one. The house itself is a little quirky (as is true with most properties on Roatan). It has a coded lock box on the door, so it took a little practice to be able to open the door with one hand but we managed. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we really needed, including a working dishwasher. The view from both decks is amazing and it's an easy walk down the path to the community pool...where we were able to socialize with other Turtle Crossing occupants and owners. The only things I would suggest is it would be nice to have a king size bed in one of the bedrooms and the outdoor furniture could use a little upgrading (maybe just a coat of paint and some new seat pads). Oh...and the wicker couch set in the living room is really uncomfortable! But then, we really didn't spend much time inside watching TV anyway. Overall, this is a really good value for what you get...and we would definitely rent again.
