We stayed in apartment 5, on the ground floor, and loved our stay. The view from the front took our breath away on first viewing and also every morning and sunset! We had to keep pinching ourselves we were actually staying in such a lovely spot. At breakfast we sat on the outside table over looking the beautiful Worthing beach, and as we were on the ground floor, we only had to walk down a few steps to be on it. This was lovely to walk along, and we could swim at either end of it. Just wonderful! The sound of the waves was beautiful, but we were glad the bedroom was furthest from the beach, so we had a perfect sleep. As soon as we opened the bedroom door we were greeted by the loudness of the waves. The bedroom had air conditioning which again was lovely as we had a cool room. The main room with kitchen didn't and was always warm. We had the French windows open most of the time as to let air in, and the sound of the waves, and we had locked bars across the windows to stop any intruders, which were mentioned to us a few times by other renters, but we had no problem during our stay. The kitchen was large with all cooking equipment and a lovely settee. On the main road outside we could easily get a small bus, all had funny sounding horns to attract customers and would stop to pick you up anywhere. On these it cost $1 (American dollar) each to get to Bridgetown, which took about 15 minutes. There is a small supermarket almost opposite and a larger one about a 2 minute walk across the road opposite, as you walk away from the flat, and just before the large one is the post office. We knew where to find Sacha, the manager(?) if needed but we didn't need to. On the day we were leaving he was very happy for us to leave our cases in the room while the cleaner prepared for the next guest and we had one last walk along the beach! Thoroughly recommend this place and if we ever find ourselves back in Barbados we would certainly stay here again.
