Fantastic apartment in a beautiful setting

5 of 5
We stayed in apartment 5, on the ground floor, and loved our stay. The view from the front took our breath away on first viewing and also every morning and sunset! We had to keep pinching ourselves we were actually staying in such a lovely spot. At breakfast we sat on the outside table over looking the beautiful Worthing beach, and as we were on the ground floor, we only had to walk down a few steps to be on it. This was lovely to walk along, and we could swim at either end of it. Just wonderful! The sound of the waves was beautiful, but we were glad the bedroom was furthest from the beach, so we had a perfect sleep. As soon as we opened the bedroom door we were greeted by the loudness of the waves. The bedroom had air conditioning which again was lovely as we had a cool room. The main room with kitchen didn't and was always warm. We had the French windows open most of the time as to let air in, and the sound of the waves, and we had locked bars across the windows to stop any intruders, which were mentioned to us a few times by other renters, but we had no problem during our stay. The kitchen was large with all cooking equipment and a lovely settee. On the main road outside we could easily get a small bus, all had funny sounding horns to attract customers and would stop to pick you up anywhere. On these it cost $1 (American dollar) each to get to Bridgetown, which took about 15 minutes. There is a small supermarket almost opposite and a larger one about a 2 minute walk across the road opposite, as you walk away from the flat, and just before the large one is the post office. We knew where to find Sacha, the manager(?) if needed but we didn't need to. On the day we were leaving he was very happy for us to leave our cases in the room while the cleaner prepared for the next guest and we had one last walk along the beach! Thoroughly recommend this place and if we ever find ourselves back in Barbados we would certainly stay here again.

Everything we expected.....and way way more

5 of 5
We spent 10 days here in the new year and had the most fabulous time. We dealt with Timothy from start to finish. The man is a complete professional. Completely honest and thoroughly helpful. He arranged for the taxi to pick us up at the airport and was there to greet us at the villa. The villa is well equipped, spotlessly clean and perfectly situated. I cannot imagine there's a better location anywhere on the island. There are 2 spectacular beaches within a couple of minutes walk that are not packed but are quite well populated but right outside the rear doors of the villa is a beautiful bay that couldn't have had more than a handful of people on it in all the 10 days we were there. From the deck you will see the 3 sea turtles that shelter in the bay. They will let you swim within touching distance of them. St Lawrence Gap has many very good restaurants and bars. They all offer something a little different from each other. I had read a review of the villa that complained about noise and whilst I agree that it may have spoilt their stay but can you expect to stay in the busiest, liveliest part of the island and not expect to hear late night music. We rang Timothy for help and advice a couple of times during our stay. He always picked up and was more than happy to help. Our only downside of the complete trip was being ripped off by the vodka bar across the road. Twice as much as anywhere else, plastic cups, hardly any drinks to choose from. Do yourself a favour avoid this place, there's literally hundreds of better places to drink. Do yourselves a bigger favour BOOK THIS VILLA. It's paradise Thanks Timothy for everything
