                      Beautiful views

                      4 of 5
Villa is pretty easy to find and only 15 mins from the airport. Lovely to be welcomed to the house by John. Who showed us everything and where to find places round the island. The view was the best thing about staying here. To wake up each morning and see the ocean was pretty special. The wind coming off the ocean was extremely welcoming and it saved on putting the air con on! Bottom bay, which is 2-3min walk away is beautiful and hardly anyone was on it. But only suitable to paddle. Initially we thought we were pretty remote but we actually appreciated the quietness of it all and how safe we felt (friends were shocked we sat with the front door open in the evening!) plus everything only takes 20-30 mins to get to, six roads roundabout was so helpful and led us to the places we wanted to get to. There is a supermarket there but shop savvy, some things are reasonable and some things are very expensive as obviously having to import things. During our stay we were lucky to be there for the Kadooment crop over carnival. Was a great experience. We visited Oistins fish fry evening, queue for the food rather than sit down and be served, we made that mistake and waited forever for our food! A visit to The Crane is a must, beautiful beach and the hotel is lovely too. The service at the Italian restaurant was brilliant. We also ate at Tapas in Hastings, which was very delicious and reasonably priced. Lovely to eat by the beach too. Also recommend Elegance catamaran cruises. They only have 14 guests on board and good sized boat. They were extremely attentive and were so good with our 6 year old. Head off to the west for the best beaches. We only had time to visit a few but Paynes beach and Mullins were very nice. What is great about Barbados is that it's not over commercialised and trying to appeal to westerners. It is what it is. Felt very relaxed and very safe and people are always willing to help. I would recommend this villa if you want to get away from it all and want breathtaking views. It felt like paradise with the coconut trees in the garden. The pool was great to have and got our son swimming properly. We got used to the bugs and the visitors in the pool including crabs and a frog! The villa is well equipped and has everything you need. Wendy was really helpful and answered any strange questions we had! Plus we knew that John was only at the end of the phone or end of the road if we needed anything. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Not about the House but the Whole Package!

                      5 of 5
This was the BEST deal ever, and Kason was amazing,a true gentleman. Starting with our pick up from airport, a phone to use with a quick dial to Kason for anything we needed help with. A CAR with GPS, free highspeed internet and if that wasnt enough, We got a a great place to stay LOL.We were not sure about the location when booking but with a free car and a GPS . Barbados was ours to explore. Turned out the location was great as well with a shopping, gas and eating area 5 min up the road it was so convenient. We travelled the whole island and on the last morning got up early to check out our neighborhood beach Bottom Bay and it was Fabulous a bit rough but check it out on your first day instead of your last. The house felt very safe, in a quiet local area, AC worked great at night, just let the breeze blow for the short time we were at home in the day.It had everything we needed and Kason was on speed dial for the few things we needed and was over in a flash.Hated to leave and will definitely be back, Hope Kason keeps this deal going because it is a crazy sweet one for sure, TOO GOOD of a deal. so jump in a grab it before we change his mind.LOL

                      Nice Place!

                      5 of 5
This is the best deal ever! Kason is such a great person and so helpful. He picked us up at the airport. Gave us his car to drive (he will give you a temporary license), we didn't have a GPS at first so he went the next day and got a wireless unit that we could use all over the island. He gave us a cell phone so we could call him anytime. I loved the place as it is in a very local area so you really get the culture. It's very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning is in the bedrooms and the open breeze keeps you cool in the main area. There is a washer and the line to hang your clothes dry. You need to bring seasonings, cooking oil, storage bags, shampoo (he provides soap) and of course anything you want to eat. We also didn't have a cookie sheet to use in the oven so we used foil and it was fine. This place is in a great area as my favorite beaches were bottom bay and foul bay. The water is rough on this side but the beaches are awesome! The tourist area is on the west side and this is on the southeast side. You are about 1 mile from the beach. One of our favorite places to eat is the bar and grill on Martins Bay. Another great restaurant was the Round House further up the east coast! Great time!
