The best just keeps getting better.

Part of me does not want to write a review. I want to keep this place for myself. But alas I must. For the third year running this place hits a home run. Very comfortable accommodations, may I add immaculately clean, with a view of the ocean that's breathtaking. Melanie could not be more charming and accommodating with things to do or places to eat. If you like seafood there is a man who comes by the Villa once a week with fresh and I mean fresh seafood. With an outdoor grill, a palapa, candlelight and the sound of the waves lapping the shore it is pure heaven. If you want a tranquil experience with long beach walks ( the entire time we were there we saw 3 people on the beach) this place is not to be missed. Oh did I mention the experience of rinsing a cup in the kitchen sink only to look up and witness whales breaching the surface of the ocean, an incredible sight. Whats not to like.......

A Peaceful Graceful Place to Stay

5 of 5
After a brutal Midwestern winter, we were looking for a sunny warm beach that offered peace and quiet. We found it at Osprey House. We stayed four days in the Osprey Nest (second floor suite), and it was wonderful. The beach setting is stunning and unmarred by commercial resorts. Giovanni, the caretaker, was helpful, kind, and considerate. The house was well-appointed and clean, and offered comfort and wonderful views from both inside and the outside veranda. While we were interested in a quiet time, the surfing and off-road adventures were clearly there for those wishing for a more active time. The road from the highway was rough if you are not used to Mexican dirt roads, and the wifi did not work well during our stay, but these were minor inconveniences. Wifi was readily available in both El Pescadero and Todos Santos. Temperate weather with the sea breeze, friendly people (both the native Mexicans and the ex pats), wonderful fresh fruits, vegetables, and sea food available for making your own meals as well as a variety of good restaurants - all in all, this experience was one to remember. We will be back.

An oasis in an oasis

5 of 5
First : I fell in love with that Mexican peninsula. Deeply in love. The combination of Baja California (desert, mountains, spectacular beaches, perfect temperature, delicious wind, ocean and adorable villages) is unique and breathtaking. I found the vibration of Todos Santos beautiful and kind. And the casa Jacinta, very close to the village by car, is a haven, a paradise, an oasis as tranquille and luminous as the sky there. I'd go back any time to relax, taste the silence, admire the light, take endless walks on empty beaches, eat extraordinary food in charming restaurants, jog, get to know the wonderful Mexican people, fish, read. There are many one(or more)-day excursions to do that are not far from the house and that allow you to enjoy even more the beauty and the people of this land. Casa Jacinta is in itself beautifully built, extremely clean, decorated with taste, simplicity and authenticity, and very comfortable. As soon as you arrive, you see that the owners have done everything to facilitate your stay and to help you relax. The information left for guests is extensive, precise and extremely helpful. Things are easy to find in the house. Bref, total bliss. I'd recommend it to everybody anytime.
