Comforts of home in a Mexican village

5 of 5
I like going to Mexico to experience the culture and it's people, not be with a bunch of other transplanted tourists wanting it to be like home ! Santiago is a quaint, Mexican village where you will feel comfortable walking the streets and exploring the area. Pam has created a cute, casita with bright colors, nice linens and sitting areas both inside and out. You have everything to need to stay a few days and get a feel for the community and area. The hot springs, the rancheros, the hiking, the church, school and plaza are all worth exploring. Pam is a wonderful hostess and her casita is not to be missed ! Barbara

A great Casita

5 of 5
Set in a beautiful lush garden full of hummingbirds and other birds with a large variety of plantlife. Wonderful setting for morning coffee or evening cervesas. The shade in the garden helps to keep the casita cool. The area is very safe and the owner is helpful.

Great spot, convenient to Cabo, peaceful at night

5 of 5
We are a family of five, including kids aged 14, 19 and 21. Just about a perfect spot for us. We like being close to the action, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo to enjoy quiet mornings and evenings. Nice view of the Sea of Cortez from the small deck (still handled five just fine), had numerous (lost track) whale sightings from the deck as well as from the common area located on the waterfront (about 100 yards from the unit). Second level bedroom worked well for our older boys, as it gave them privacy and their own space. We had some minor issues with various things (e.g., the dryer or the internet), but Paul was extremely prompt in replying to our emails, and fixed the problems quickly. All in all, great value, beautiful location, and very nice interactions with the owner.
