Great Beach Front Pool Villa

5 of 5
We just finished a great week in Villa Estrella De Mar. The villa is exactly as shown in the VRBO add. Sunsets from the villa are superb. The beach was private, water warm, nice shallow slope for people with children, but we spent most of our time in the pool. The catering provided by Martha was fantastic and highly recommend choosing your meals from her menu. Great original Mexican food. The villa is located on an island. Ferry service is provided every hour, so plan your time accordingly. The villa is very roomy, with large comfortable couches, great TV and internet access. Golfing on the island was fun, challenging and reasonably priced. Arranging fishing trips, snorkeling and scuba diving was very easy and they pick you up at the island's dock. Overall this is a great place for a quiet & relaxing time with family or friends. Thank you Stefen and Martha for answering all our questions and your suggestions on places to eat out. We all had a great time.

A great Casita

5 of 5
Set in a beautiful lush garden full of hummingbirds and other birds with a large variety of plantlife. Wonderful setting for morning coffee or evening cervesas. The shade in the garden helps to keep the casita cool. The area is very safe and the owner is helpful.

We stayed at the Honeymoon Hut

5 of 5
Here are some words for you to include as our Review. Feb 18th - 23rd 2009. What a relaxing, and at the same time, exciting stay for us in the Honeymoon Hut. We travelled from snowy and cold Vancouver BC, to look at the La Paz area, and in particular, some property to purchase. The Casita at Susan's was perfect for us! We came and went at our own pace, had all that we needed to be independent, (wireless internet, well equipped kitchen, privacy, view). Susan and her husband are a wealth of local knowledge, from restaurants to beaches to property! We loved it all so much, we purchased some land nearby, and look forward to spending more time in the HoneyMoon Hut as we prepare and plan to build. Leanne and Paul Vancouver, BC
