Everything was exactly as it looked online. The property was clean, the service was super friendly and the unit was nicely furnished and comfortable. It's the best of both worlds having a full kitchen, separate bedrooms, living room and huge terrace, along with the amenities of a resort. We all used the gym, and I went to yoga three times. We also loved having access to the beach and pool.
The location is just what I had hoped for -- close enough to walk to town, but not smack in the middle of all the action. We had a car, which was great for quick trips to Walmart for groceries, excursions, a couple of golf outings and a day trip to Todos Santos. For us the car made sense, but it would be totally doable without one. There are cabs, shuttles and public transportation options.
Shelby, the owner, was great to work with -- answered all my questions when we were booking and sent me a several page document with travel and transportation tips, restaurant and activity suggestions and general information about the area. I kept it handy at all times and it was a godsend.
Don't be fooled by the surf! It's not nearly as calm as it looks. There's usually just one wave at a time, and it crashes right near the shoreline, but it will pull you right back in. The water is stunning and the temperature was perfect when we were there, but it's tricky getting out!
This was our first trip to Cabo. We were there with our three sons, ages 22, 20 and 17. Everyone loved it and we all agreed the accommodations were just right for our family. If we go back to Cabo again, I would stay in the same unit.
