The perfect peaceful Casita in a beautiful place.

5 of 5
I had a fabulous time it was just what I needed. The Casita was perfect it had everything I needed. Pamela was a great hostess, having lived there for many years, she was able to guild me to all the great places in the area. Conveniently located to all the National forests and several Hot Springs. The property is located on the river and has gorgeous view, with a lush tropical feel. I was looking to get away and relax, I could not have found a better place if I had tried. What a great trip, Santiago is a peaceful true Mexican village that has not been corrupted by the American tourist. If you want to experience the true beauty of the Mexican culture it is right here at this lovely place. Thanks for everything.

Great location and great value

5 of 5
Just a few blocks from Marina de La Paz and the fabulous waterfront Malecon! We spent an enjoyable 10 days here while we explored downtown La Paz and the waterfront by foot. It's close to many restaurants and local food stands with fabulous Arrachara beef and local seafood. Michael is a gracious and attentive host but never intrusive. Buddy the dog is cute and friendly. We would definitely visit again and recommend this place highly.

WONDERFUL, RELAXING GETAWAY!

5 of 5
This was a quiet, beautiful spot on the Los Cabos "corridor". The photos provided are accurate but we were also pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the whole Santa Carmela community was! The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, which meant very little traffic or noise, a huge plus if you ask us! There is a nice, little local grocery store located right across the highway from the gated entrance. The house is two levels. The top level has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (1 shower), living area and a full kitchen. There is also a wonderful balcony overlooking the Sea with many whale sightings, ships and boats passing by. The lower level has its own entrance, one bedroom with two double beds, a 3/4 bath, kitchenette, and washer/dryer, more like a studio apartment. There were two lovely pathways leading down to the private pool area and covered patio, overlooking the gorgeous rocky shoreline. We used this area everyday as it was equipped with clean restrooms, sink, microwave and refrigerator, tables, chairs and loungers. No sandy or swimming beach here, but very easy access to Cabo and other tourist attractions, if that's what you desire. We really enjoyed Paul's suggestions for restaurants including Hacienda Cocina, the Office and the sunset from the bar above the Mona Lisa. We also enjoyed a day trip to Todos Santos, another great suggestion from the owner. We would also recommend the sunset wine and Jazz cruise on the TropiCat for a laid back enjoyable evening.
