After the hustle and bustle of Atlantis in Nassau, we had a wonderful time staying at serene and beautiful Ocean Daze in Euleuthera/Windemere. The gorgeous home the owners built has every comfort you could ever need including snorkel masks for exploring the reef located in the waters behind the house. I took my family and friends to stay in this very large house. It was so fun to be able to hang out as a group while we prepared meals and ate, but then we also had the option of enjoying the many private spaces tucked into the landscape and available on the enormous porch that surrounds the house.
It was so convenient to have a fully stocked kitchen at our disposal. We could have easily caught our own fish and conch to prepare, had we chosen to do so as the house has plenty of fishing gear and there was bait in the fridge. The kitchen, dining room and great room are all open and airy with exquisite views of the ocean on both sides. It was almost like staying in a treehouse in the jungle except for all of the wonderful amenities. We swam, ran on the beach, kayaked and snorkeled right at the property anytime we wanted. We took advantage of a few concierge services which made our trip so relaxing and convenient and the property caretakers were wonderful and always made sure we were well taken care of. The people of Eleuthera are friendly and helpful. Such a gorgeous island with so many things to do and so many diverse beaches.
In a nutshell, we had everything we could possibly need staying at this amazingly gorgeous property. It was beautifully decorated, clean, open and had exquisite views of the full moon and sunrise right from our bedroom. The children aged 8 to 12 had a fantastic time exploring the beach, snorkeling, hunting for shells, and playing in the sand. The adults were thrilled to not have to work to keep the kids entertained and enjoy the pink sand beaches and crystal clear waters.
