Recent Ten Bay Beach Reviews

Amazing

5 of 5
My wife and I stayed at the Amori house for twelve days in May. I will start this review with the only negative we found regarding this property. That is you will never want to leave. This place and island are that nice. The house is located on one of the many beautiful beaches in Eleuthera. Most of the days we had the whole beach to ourselves. Our mornings were spent rescuing starfish and conchs as the tide went out. During the afternoons we kayaked around the bay. But our favorite thing to do was to float around the bay in their float chairs. Very relaxing. The sunsets over the ocean were second to none. The house is set of by itself. It is very comfortable and has every ting you need to make it your home. If you need to stay connected it has wireless and Direct TV. The AC worked great but we barely needed it and we live in the high mountains of Colorado. You will not truly understand how magnificant this house is until you have the pleasure of staying here on this peaceful island. When we did meet people on the beach they all commented how lucky we were to have found the Amori House. Thanks Ama.

My wife and I just returned from our stay at Mermaid Point on 5/9/15 and we can't speak highly enough about the house and the owners. Wayne and Diane are wonderful people and a wealth of knowledge on the island. The view from the deck on the front of the house is absolutely amazing. Just might be the finest sunset viewing on the island. I spent many days fishing from the gazebo in front of the house and caught some snappers and small groupers. If fishing is not your thing you can just sit in the shade of the gazebo and watch the sea-life go by. We saw a shark, a big barracuda and a sea turtle. There is a path behind the house and with a short walk you are on Ten Bay Beach, one of the best beaches on the island. The house has everything you need including a very comfortable king size bed. The kayaks were great to have and we did some exploring with them. I would not hesitate to rent this house on every trip we take to Eleuthera. Wayne and Diane, we thank you for helping to make our vacation so enjoyable.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!

Don't even know where to begin...I cannot tell anyone how wonderful this location is and how gorgeous the water is! This was my second visit to Eleuthera and I must say, this last visit was much better due to my accomodations. We had EVERYTHING we needed at the house. Grilled out almost every night. We could view everything from the deck. We saw stingrays, turtles and nursesharks. I walked right down to the water and jumped in, snorkeled, got out of water for some sunbathing and then under the shade for a nice nap. Wake up and do it all over again. The caretaker, Rodney, was a wealth of information, very accomodating and super nice. Rented a car from him....very nice! I will definitely be back ASAP...love it, love it, love it!!! Also, the grocery market we found in Rock Sound was huge (compared to others) and the prices were much more reasonable than Burrows and others in Gov. Harb. Thank you, Carolyn!!!! Can't wait to get back...hopefully, this August :)
