Staniel Cay - Driftwood Cottage

5 of 5
Driftwood Cottage is a beautiful, newly built home "up the creek" in Staniel Cay. With a well protected, deep water dock only five minutes to Exuma Sound, it is a boaters paradise. We shared the house with two other couples who had never been to Staniel Cay or the Exumas. Even though they had been many places in the Bahamas, they were amazed at how idyllic the Exumas were with the crystal clear water, white sandy beaches and tranquil anchorages. Pam and Rob provided excellence service and were extremely helpful during our stay. We certainly will return...

Love Swept Away!

5 of 5
We had some challenges getting to Staniel Cay. Our flight was delayed out of Newark to Nassau due to plane maintenance issue and we missed our connection flight to Staniel Cay. We ended up spending a night in Nassau. Barry, thank you for going the extra mile helping us get to Staniel Cay! You checked in with us as we arrived, making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our vacation. Milly (housekeeper) is very sweet. She picked us up at the airport, showed us how to get around town and everything else we needed during our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and letting us use your golf cart! We love the décor of the house. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and just admiring the beauty of the island. Your Swept Away home is the perfect location on the island. Very close to stores, restaurants and quiet beaches. We loved the beach closest to the Swept Away home. It’s always quiet there and made us feel like we have the whole island to ourselves. People on the island are very friendly. We enjoyed eating local foods and buying fresh homemade bread from Emil’s. The beaches here have the most pristine water we’ve ever seen. We loved visiting the pig beach. We will be back for sure to create new memories!

The perfect view of the perfect island

5 of 5
Crow's Nest's amazing bluff location will stun even Caribbean regulars. It sits high upon a bluff on Staniel Key in the Exumas. A bluff in the Caribbean? It's true! The master bed room atop the octogon-shaped house provides 360 degree views across the Keys. The rest of the house has a warm, cozy feeling and is tastefully decorated with local art and natural objects. The rustic feeling of the house is combined will plenty of modern amenities- full kitchen, XM radio, DVD player, etc. The island is a friendly, neighborly place who know the owners well and treat their guests with kindness and attention. The island boasts three terrific restaurants, a beautiful park with walking trails (which the owners helped to build), and several other beaches, shops, and places to visit. There is plenty to do on and around Staniel Key. The Thunderball Grottoe, made famous by the James Bond movie, is a fabulous local spot for snorkling, and the Exuma Park nearby has many other diving spots. There are several Whalers and other small boats available for rent on Staniel to explore the surrounding islands. Crow's Nest sits atop a tropical paradise which is not to be missed!
