Wonderful Villa

5 of 5
Great villa away from the noise but close and convenient to everything. Enjoyed the lovely beaches, pool, snorkeling with Basel, the Ardastra Zoo and visiting the sea lions at the Blue Lagoon. The villa is clean and well equipped. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with extra bed worked well for our family of 4. Took a trip to Solomon's, the recommended market and had a few meals at the villa to cut expenses. Food is rather pricey on Paradise Island. Enjoyed Café Matisse in downtown Nassau one night--excellent! We found Kyrene very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend this rental!

If you want to walk out on the beach this is the place to be!

4 of 5
We were a party of six who inhabited this delightful property. My husband and I were celebrating 25 years together, and our daughter and son-in-law were celebrating their 5th anniversary (married on Eleuthera). The other couple is friends to our daughter and we all got along famously! For my husband and I, this was our third trip to the Island. The best thing is that the house is located right on the beach with no neighbors. It is close to the road, but you could not hear traffic when you were inside or on the beach. The amenities of this house are very good, including all the beach chairs, kayaks and hammocks. We found that the house was big enough if someone needed down time or a quiet spot. We loved the sitting areas. The refrigerator is large, kitchen work area large, kitchen amenities good, gas grill good, and the dining area made it easy for all of us to gather at lunch and dinner times. The TV/Cable was a plus since we had a few blustery days and opted for a movie night. The internet connections were on and off during our stay, but we expected that. Each bed was comfortable, great pillows, ceiling fans and air conditioning in every room, and plenty of bathrooms! Only 1 hair dryer was at the house so if you have a big group you may want to bring another. The big fluffy bathrobes were a nice touch! We bought fresh lobster tails in Gregory Town. We ate at Unca Gene's for lunch--friendly. Next to Unca Gene's is a lovely gift shop we always stop in for our treasures. And go to The Deck. It's right on the beach, open air, and only 4 menu items on any given day--food is good. The gentlemen who own this place make killer cocktails they have created. Also go to The Rainbow Inn. We are never disappointed with the food--always exceptional. We wouldn't, however, recommend The Bistro at Sky Beach Club. Our dinners did not arrive at one time--more like I need this one now and then it showed up. The food was okay, service bad, and the kitchen was extremely disorganized. We arranged a home cooked meal to be prepared at the house on our last night there. It was the perfect closure to our week-long vacation. We had time to pack rather than worry about food and clean up. We also took a day trip to Harbour Island-yay! The people responsible for this property were professional, kind and courteous. We had a few hiccups at check in and check out but they went way above and beyond to make things right. You will not be disappointed with your stay.

The stunning Exumas!

5 of 5
We have traveled all over, but this was our first trip to the Bahamas - the Exumas are infectious and Villa 30 was the perfect home base! Kathy was a perfect host. She gave us so many great tips for our itinerary and who to contact for anything you could need on the island. The villa was as advertised and fully equipped with all things needed to cook, bake, and head to the beach. Palm Bay and Splash were fun places to meet and play with other visitors and locals alike, as well as borrow kayaks, sand toys, and SUPs. We could easily get into town by walking or taking the shuttle from Palm Bay, even for groceries. Renting a car for at least one day is a good way to explore Great and Little Exuma. You can't miss Jolly Hall beach, Thunderball Grotto, or Stocking Island. The possibilities are really endless! We were a little disappointed that the Exumas were not into more eco-friendly practices, such as recycling, composting, renewable energy, picking up litter alongside the roads etc., but the islands sink into your soul and leave a permanent longing to be there forever! Or at least again and again and again!
