Perfect Home in perfect place! Best hosts...

5 of 5
Arrived April 9th for a 15 night stay at Rayanns. The pictures don't do it justice. The water and beach are even more beautiful than they look in the photos. The house was sparkling clean and well maintained. Empty lots on both sides give you lots of privacy. As has been said elsewhere, you really don't need much more than your toothbrush. Wi-Fi, Cable and Phone all worked great and we slept better on the bed here than at home. Woke up every morning amazed at the spectacular view, then went to swim in the warm ocean just after sunrise. Although we brought lots of food having heard the prices were high, we found everything we wanted at fairly normal prices. The meat was cheaper than in US. Sisters Mildred and Isadora are wonderful, warm, friendly hosts and go out of their way to make your stay perfect in every way. Ideal, sunny beach out front where in 15 days we actually saw 4 people (not all at once). Every beach we went to was deserted as well. We went on all-day Out Islands Tour with Coastline Adventures with Capt. Bob to see sharks, swimming pigs, iguanas, Thunderball Grotto, sand bars, etc. free soft drinks, beer, rum punch and Conch salad. Ate and drank many times at Big D's Conch Shack on the beach in Steventon, and at The Palapa Grill at Grand Isle (near Sandals) also enjoyed The Emerald Pub across from Sandals. Of course, Santana’s Grill on Little Exuma is also a must. Rented a good car from Janese at Shure To Shore with no issues. Rented boat from Minn's several times for great snorkeling and exploring islands around Georgetown. Our foremost impression of Exuma besides the beauty was the wonderful, friendly people who live there and go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. No problems with crime or bugs. We just can't recommend this vacation home enough! Go! It will be worth it and you will want to return.

As advertised

Our two families had a fantastic stay.....so good we were quick to book another week later in the year in the same spot. The property was clean and well maintained. The property manager provided everything we needed including a chef recommendation whom made the week even better cooking our meals. Would highly recommend overall.

Priceless Oceanview!

5 of 5
My husband, son and I stayed at Paula's townhouse for a week and enjoyed it so much!! The townhouse is very spacious with plenty of room for three. We loved the patio and we spent many hours enjoying the views of the ocean!! The townhouse is in a quiet area, but is only a quick bus ride to Nassau. The bus (jitney) only cost $1.25 which is only a 2 minute walk from the townhouse. We made most of our meals at the townhouse and the grocery store was a short 15 minute walk. It was so convenient to have a BBQ to cook our meals!! The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need! The bedrooms were wonderful with your own ensuite bathrooms! Waking up to the view from the master bedroom was so nice! The a/c worked great and kept all three levels cool! Having a washer and dryer to use was so convenient! The beach next to the property is really nice!! I didn't feel we had to go anywhere else to enjoy the sun and sand! We did travel to Atlantis Paradise Island for a night and was really worth the trip. We ended up staying at Atlantis for a night because you must now be a guest of one of the resorts to enjoy the park. It was actually cheaper for us to stay at the resort than pay the entrance fee for three guests. I would recommend taking a taxi from downtown Nassau to Paradise Island. We took the ferry over and spent over an hour waiting for it to leave. We took a taxi back to Nassau which was quicker and cost the same amount as the ferry. ($4 a person). The property manager Barbara picked us up and drove us back to the airport. Thanks Barbara!! I would recommend Paula's townhouse and hope to someday return again.
