Awesome experience for the family!

5 of 5
Fantastic all around. Had a very windy week, but made the best of it. We tend to stay at high end properties and we will not hesitate to return to this one. Excellent amenities in the house, beautifully appointed, plenty of dishes/glasses/cokware/spices. Our family of 5, kids ages 15,11,9 and my parents stayed very comfortably. I would rate this as the best family vacation we have had. Mike's recommendations ahead of time made the planning simple. Must do restaurants: La Fourchette, Latitudes, Chat n chill, Big D's Conch shack, Shirley's at the fish fry (Charlie's was always closed.) We missed out on Tropic Breeze and Santanas due to not being open every day. Rent a boat from Minn's and hire Brian to guide you- turtles at Crab Cay, lunch at St. Frances on Stocking island, private beach hopping, trek up to the Salt beacon. Great time. Sugar with Sugar Adventures is a must. He visited us the night before to pre-plan, had a rainout day, but he still got in many fun adventures before the storm hit, then brought us lobster tails the next day! Pack toilet paper. It is $18 for 12 rolls at the store. A $25 suitcase charge roundtrip is a steal if you can pack in crackers, snacks, detergent, toilet paper, etc. The house had dish detergent and some small soaps to start you off, but needed to buy the other basics. We ended up leaving extras, I am sure others do, so supplies likely vary. Opened the doors every morning for an unforgettable week of beautiful sunrises. Pictures do not do this place justice. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Completely lived up to our expectations!

5 of 5
Our stay at the Baha Beach Villa completely lived up to our expectations and our family of 10 had a great week at the house. Before we even arrived the owner, Samantha, was exceptionally helpful as we planned our week. She provided names and numbers for the various activities that we wanted to do. Tenecia, the assistant property manager, was there to greet us when we arrived, and we only had to contact her one time during our stay. The one item that required attention was the hot tub as the temperature had cooled considerably and we could not figure out how to warm it back up. We called Tenecia and she had someone out within the hour and by dinner time it was ready to go. It was great to see that the house was amply stocked across the board: cookware, beach towels, beach toys, toilet paper, dish detergent, trash bags, etc.. Some supplies lasted the duration of the trip, others we had to replenish, but there was nothing we had to run out and buy that first day. We've been to other rentals where the first thing you have to do is go out and buy similar necessities and it was great to have it all right there. The location of the home and the proximity to the beach was fantastic for our family. We had little kids and grandma with us, so the few steps down to the beach was fabulous. It made it very accessible for everyone. The calm, clear waters of the bay was also perfect for everyone. The little kids could enjoy the water without getting knocked down by big waves, we used the kayaks from the house and rented paddle boards for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed cruising around the bay among the stingrays, turtles, and star fish. Two from our group spent hours in the bay with snorkel gear looking at urchins, starfish, angel fish and sting rays. It was also great being close, but not too close, to the hotels as people from the other side of the bay would cruise over and see if we were interested in jet skis or a snorkeling trip. We would agree on a price and a time and they would bring everything to us - so easy and convenient! And, if we said, 'not today' they simply waved and took off - there was never any bothersome pressure to engage. The location of the house is also a beautiful backdrop for pictures. We hired a great photographer and she got some amazing pictures - again, all conveniently set a few steps from the house. If it were up to me I would make this a yearly tradition, and I'm sure no one in our group would object!

Beautiful beach and house + friendly people = GREAT VACATION!!

5 of 5
This is our third trip to Spanish Wells. We love this place! We stayed at Sunnyside the first time, and just loved it. We tried to book Sunnyside for our second trip, but it was already booked. We were very sad, but we did get our beloved Sunnyside again for our third trip to Spanish Wells. Sunnyside is very spacious, has a great layout, and the most beautiful views. My favorite spot is the beach side porch where I could just curl up and read a book. The kids all used the jacuzzi, the bicycles, and ocean kayaks daily. They had a blast! Our friendly property manager, Brent (also known as Capt. Smiley) took us out for a great day of fishing. We had enough fish for several delicious meals! His brother, Capt. Scuba, took us on an Eleuthera excursion where we saw many different caves, blue holes, fruit farms, and other area landmarks. It was a fun day, and I would highly recommend Capt. Scuba's tour. (We rented a car on Eleuthera for a day, but didn't find any of these special places on our own.) We rented a boat from Brent / Capt. Smiley and had a great time exploring the area, finding new beaches, and snorkeling in beautiful clear waters. Lorraine had our rental golf carts ready for us at the house when we arrived. Spanish Wells is a beautiful little island, has all amenities, friendly locals, and is a place where safety isn't an issue. We look forward to making Spanish Wells a yearly family vacation.
