Relaxing with kids in Cape Eleuthera!

5 of 5
Eleuthera Island is a jewel! We travelled with two adults and two girls 7/10. We took a short 20 minute flight from Nassau to Governors Harbor and then rented a vehicle from Tracy Williams who made it effortless by meeting us right at the gate. When we checked in at the Cape Eleuthera it was smooth and they even had someone drive to the condo with us to make sure we found it. The island is whatever you want it to be from the most amazing beaches, friendly locals, from touristy in the north or quiet in the south. Sunset and Sunrise beach at the Cape is great some of the best sunsets I have ever seen, and very relaxing, with snorkeling and swimming an easy walk from the condo. The condo has everything you need and more, we cooked most nights in the condo. The marina also has a restaurant which was great to use when we were not in the mood to cook and or running low in groceries! The condo itself is very comfortable - great beds, great views, and lots of space for a family. We travelled to every corner of the island and Light House beach was our favorite with ten bay beach a close second where the girls could walk out forever. Would recommend a vehicle as there are so many beaches to check out and Rock sound has a great grocery/liquor store, which is about 25 minute drive. It was great driving the variety of dirt roads and then ending up at crystal blue waters, white or pink sands at the end of a drive. My goal was to see 5 different beaches and we ended up checking out 7 amazing beaches. Julianna and Tara were very helpful when we were researching where to stay. They went above and beyond and everything they recommended was perfect. They even checked in with us half way through our vacation, they also have contacts for all types of rentals. If you like a quiet place to relax or a different adventure every day Eleuthera Island is for you. Craig and Amanda.

Our Family Vacation!

5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay at this Condo/Townhouse, it’s clean and everything was in place to our high expectations. The owner is a caring person who took her time to provide us with any materials needed and support when we even arrived. The location is absolutely AMAZING! right on the beach, swimming pool was great for the kids! Lots of space inside and outside and very secure premise with 24/7 security in place who by the way are so very polite and helpful. The property is well taken care of, no shortage of towels I must say. We would see cleaners on site at all times. A 5-10 min walk on the beach from the Atlantis Resort, there's a ton of amenities right outside on the beach about 100 yards away with your own shower stall to clean off the sand when coming back from the beach. And the beach...FANTASIC! There’s so much room to move around that it’s almost secluded... We had parking for our rental vehicle (which we recommend to have as Taxi's are very expensive, but were parked behind security gates that are closed at all time's) did we mention the location of this property it’s where you want to be when in Paradise Island (Nassau)! We would stay there again without any hesitation...washer/dryer, wireless internet, Cable (satellite) TV... The only drawback if any is Grocery Shopping...there's none really and therefore you need a rental car which ours was only $300.00 USD for week (very good deal found it in the phone book from an independent rental shop not one of the big companies and it was a nice car!) but would only take 5 mins to get to the grocery shopping across bridge into Nassau.. Again we had such an amazing experience that having a Townhouse was the best thing we could have done with kids!
