Exotic and romantic

5 of 5
My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was more than we dreamed. We had privacy and what a picturesque location it is. We were located close enough to the market for convenience. Right on the beach was perfect for us to enjoy snorkeling every day. The caretaker, Pauline, was attentive and everything was ready when we got there. Can't wait to go back again.

Best Vacation Ever.

5 of 5
My husband and I ventured to stay at Villa Sylphide to celebrate his graduation and our anniversary. We knew it was going to be nice since it is our neighbor's vacation house and he has excellent taste but we had no idea of its beauty until we got there. Between the high-end kitchen, beautifully decorated rooms, great wraparound porch, backyard wildlife and private beach, this place is special, it really has it all. We did a couple day trips to some cool beaches but really spent most of our time on our beach. Just lying on the beach was enough but to break it up we did venture into the ocean. We found a great snorkeling spot to the right, about a quarter mile down the beach, it has all of the underwater life one could ask for in a shallow protective cove, we highly recommend this spot. Also, the restaurants were great (although we had fun cooking in), people are wonderful, location is perfect. 2 suggestions, rent a SUV if you plan on doing some exploring and bring your water shoes, they were great to have. Overall 10 out of 10. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Vacation Spot.

5 of 5
We stayed at Blue Palms from June 1 -8, 2008 and could not have had a nicer, more comfortable place to stay for our Eleuthera vacation. The house is very well appointed and designed. Tastefully decorated and supplied. It is steps from the best snorkeling that we found on Eleuthera. There are infinite coral heads to explore teeming with live coral and fish. We saw turtles, rays, many reef fish and even a nurse shark. Mercy, the caretaker, is a gem of a lady. She took care of anything we asked. Just to spend time in conversation with her is worth a visit. Our party of 6 was very comfortable at Blue Palms and its location on the center of the island makes it a perfect base for island exploration. While there, be sure to get a burger at the Country Cafe just up the road in N. Palmetto Point and some conch fritters and cracked conch at the Sunset Inn in Gov. Harbour.
