WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION

4 of 5
We rented 2 villa's from John in July 2013 to celebrate my son graduating from high school and it was great having close quarters for 8 family members. We loved our stay at the Sunset Beach Villa's and had some great family time together, hanging at the pool which was just steps away, and just steps to the beach. The villa's were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the snorkeling. The beach offers a lot of water entertainment as far as jet skis, banana boats, and boat rides. We also did a private boat ride to a secluded snorkeling area. The only beach negative is the jet ski guys that are constantly running the jet skis in and out of the water and can create an almost dangerous situation for the swimmers.

A PERFECT RESPITE

5 of 5
Baha Beach Villa is a beautiful property and couldn't be better situated in Nassau. This home is steps away from the beach on Goodman Bay. The water was was so enticing - clear, carribean blue and warm - that we spent much of our time simply hanging out in the water. There is at least one resident sea turtle that made it presence known each day in the water in front of the villa. The villa came appointed with two inflatable sea kayaks that we regularly used to explore the bay. The weather was perfect. It was fabulous waking up to that ocean view every morning! (Three bedrooms directly face the water with views from all the rest but one bunk room). Whenever we needed anything or had questions, the local property manager, Tenecia, was a phone call away and always reponsive and friendly. The house is beautful and had everything that we (17 of us) needed. It was clean and nicely furnished, especially the cozy nook off the kitchen. The dining room table was able to easily accomodate all of us. The kitchen was well appointed. We made blended drinks every night and cooked in much of the time. We took the Number 10 bus for $1.25 to shop uptown at the City Market for groceries. My brother and his family stayed in the guest house which they loved. Getting around was super easy. There is a bus stop across the street to go uptown and buses would stop right in the drive if they saw us standing there to go downtown. Number 10 buses would actually turn around to come get us if we were going in the opposite direction. Some bus drivers gave us their phone numbers to call them after bus hours for transportation for a few dollars per person. (buses are privately owned). Father Jungle of bus 12b will pick up right at the house and deliver to the airport for $2.50 per person. Best deal on the island. In Nassau, we went to the Art Museum, Pirate Museum, Graycliff Hotel, and Straw Market, and just walked around checking out the architecture, shops and local color. We ate at the Fish Market but the better food and deals were in the "street" restaurants beneath the bridge to Paradise Island. Excellent conch at Doc Sam's. Other activities we did were snorkeling with Stuart Cove's (including a shark snrorkel), and Aqua Adventure Water Park Day Pass at the Atlantis Resort. We all loved both of these. I would definitely recommend Baha Beach Villa - perfect for a family reunion - and would love to return in the future. Thank you, Samantha!!

A VACATION THAT EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

5 of 5
Our family, consisting of three couples and a single, stayed at this lovely villa for a week as we celebrated a special family birthday. I cannot imagine a nicer setting. The villa was in pristine condition and was, obviously, well maintained through the year. The two bedrooms in the main house and the two bedrooms in the guest cottage all with bathrooms en-suite worked perfectly for us. The living space was spread out in such a way that whether you wanted a private spot or room for the entire group, it was available. The pool was lovely and the outdoor seating areas were great. We especially loved the room that was open on three sides with breezes blowing through. The house is located on a lagoon and the fishermen in our group had a wonderful time and caught two nice sized mutton snapper which we ate with gusto. We also saw rays, turtles and puffer fish from the house dock. We made used of the beach at Old Fort Bay Club, which was conveniently close to the villa, and also dined there for several lunches and a dinner. For the birthday dinner, we dined in town at Café Matisse which we all enjoyed. The housekeeper was at the house when we arrived to give us a tour and show us where everything was and how it worked. She returned on three additional occasions during our week-long stay to make certain that all was well. She was efficient and personable and we enjoyed both her company and her help. The pictures exactly portray the villa and grounds. The villa is located not too far from the airport and there is food shopping in convenient driving distance. Old Fort Bay is a gated community which provided a feeling of both security and privacy. The owner of this home was a pleasure to work with (very nice, helpful, and easy-going) during the rental process. I would not hesitate to return to this villa and would highly recommend it to family and friends.
