Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Your house was gorgeous, meticulously decorated and gave a feeling of warmth and “family” to all six of us. We loved the snorkeling off the house...Cabbage Beach... and the lovely private beach next to your home. Spectacular views( especially at sunrise, but you have to get up early :) ! My children and I loved collecting sea glass and conch shells...and the water was crystal blue and beautiful. Again, many thanks for inviting us into your home(and we loved Joe)!!!!

Awesome Home!

Right from the beginning we knew we had chosen the right home to spend my 50th birthday week with my family. We had requested early check in as we cam in on the red-eye from Seattle. This request was accommodated & the island staff were fantastic in greeting us early, showing us all of the things we needed to know about the home. Let me be very clear - this is the owners residence, not just a vacation rental property and it shows in the location, quality of furnishings, appliances, AV equipment, toys, etc. We felt right at home. We used the outdoor kitchen and margarita maker extensively :). I would highly recommend Ragged Edge to anyone that is interested - this is the standard we will measure future vacation home rentals against.. I would suggest a couple of things that made live easier for us and or we would have liked to have. First - if you are comfortable driving on the left (its not hard) definitely rent a vehicle, it is worth the money. We had 6 people and rented a mini van. The home is at the eastern end of the island away from the tourist areas (great thing) & about a 10-15 min drive to the PI bridge. In hindsight, we would have hired a cook for a couple of dinners and maid service. My wife & I cooked most meals & she did laundry. The home is literally on the waters edge & we spent several days at Cabbage Beach which the whole family fell in love with. The beach several houses down is great. However it can be difficult at high tide so plan accordingly. I have been going to the Bahamas for over 25 years. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had anywhere in the world and we were fortunate to spend it in a great home.
