A PERFECT RESPITE

5 of 5
Baha Beach Villa is a beautiful property and couldn't be better situated in Nassau. This home is steps away from the beach on Goodman Bay. The water was was so enticing - clear, carribean blue and warm - that we spent much of our time simply hanging out in the water. There is at least one resident sea turtle that made it presence known each day in the water in front of the villa. The villa came appointed with two inflatable sea kayaks that we regularly used to explore the bay. The weather was perfect. It was fabulous waking up to that ocean view every morning! (Three bedrooms directly face the water with views from all the rest but one bunk room). Whenever we needed anything or had questions, the local property manager, Tenecia, was a phone call away and always reponsive and friendly. The house is beautful and had everything that we (17 of us) needed. It was clean and nicely furnished, especially the cozy nook off the kitchen. The dining room table was able to easily accomodate all of us. The kitchen was well appointed. We made blended drinks every night and cooked in much of the time. We took the Number 10 bus for $1.25 to shop uptown at the City Market for groceries. My brother and his family stayed in the guest house which they loved. Getting around was super easy. There is a bus stop across the street to go uptown and buses would stop right in the drive if they saw us standing there to go downtown. Number 10 buses would actually turn around to come get us if we were going in the opposite direction. Some bus drivers gave us their phone numbers to call them after bus hours for transportation for a few dollars per person. (buses are privately owned). Father Jungle of bus 12b will pick up right at the house and deliver to the airport for $2.50 per person. Best deal on the island. In Nassau, we went to the Art Museum, Pirate Museum, Graycliff Hotel, and Straw Market, and just walked around checking out the architecture, shops and local color. We ate at the Fish Market but the better food and deals were in the "street" restaurants beneath the bridge to Paradise Island. Excellent conch at Doc Sam's. Other activities we did were snorkeling with Stuart Cove's (including a shark snrorkel), and Aqua Adventure Water Park Day Pass at the Atlantis Resort. We all loved both of these. I would definitely recommend Baha Beach Villa - perfect for a family reunion - and would love to return in the future. Thank you, Samantha!!

MAINTAINED WITH LOVE

5 of 5
This was the perfect location for our family reunion. The Fergusons welcomed each arriving party of our family with warm greetings into perfectly cool villas. Every item was new, clean, and up-to-date, from the tv service to the appliances and dishes to the beautiful room decorations. The backyard was an oasis with a lovely pool, tiki bar, hot tub, swing set for the kids, sandy area with hammocks and table, and so much more. We spent more of our time on the property than not! We loved being far from the tourists, and yet still an enjoyable drive to beaches, the Fish Fry, and downtown. It was our own private hotel, prepared and managed by the most loving hosts - the Ferguson Family. I will never forget how they treated my Mom with so much love and respect and my kids with so much loving patience. Mrs. Ferguson was so kind in emailing with me ahead of time about restaurants, markets, and transportation. And she even checked to make sure we made it home safe after our wish-we-were-still-there vacation. Don't limit yourself to a tourist resort! Enjoy the independence, the loving care, and the privacy at the Coastal Winds,

THIS PROPERTY IS BEAUTIFUL AND AS ADVERTISED.

5 of 5
We had two families staying at this property. It was perfect! The teenagers stayed on the beautiful second floor using the pullout couches while the rest of the families split up the remaining bedrooms on the first and third floors. The house had every amenity and was wi fi equipped. The combo of the pool and beach was ideal for our group. The kids made full use of both and Leon had a stash of beach and pool toys. Very few people on the beach. Snorkeling was best at the other end of the beach but we had some fish to enjoy right off our end of the beach. Very well equipped kitchens but we mainly used the second floor kitchen for family meals. For a change of pace, we occasionally made the very short walk down the beach to Compass Point Resort for lunch or dinner. The house was spotless and very well maintained. We wanted to be away from the hustle of downtown Nassau but, if you go, give yourself at least 45 minutes to get downtown and find parking. Leon was very easy to work with and we would highly recommend this property.
