Fantastic stay!

5 of 5
Let me start with the fact that I researched quite a bit before we chose the Jewelbox. Something kept us coming back to this property. It wasn't the scary pillow that turned out to be very friendly:) We had the most wonderful stay. We were on the island for a destination wedding. My wife and I, our two boys(24,16), the older boys girlfriend and my Mother-in-Law. The property had plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Great location near the Piggly Wiggly. Bahamas roasters with great coffee just two blocks away. Just get used to crowing roosters, but that is just about everywhere on the island. The property is greatly appointed with all the finest touches. It was better than we expected. Eartha was great and kept everything clean and tidy. I would recommend this and also the Chatterbox right across the street to anyone. Everyone involved with this property was awesome. I miss it already! Sip-Sip was great for Lunch. Queen Conch is an experience. Plan for extra time for great conch salad. The Landing and Valentines was great. The wedding was at Ocean View Resort and was "off the hook" fun. They did an awesome job on the wedding and the setting is second to none. David Platz - Colorado

Spacious, Updated and great location

5 of 5
The short: Great views, spacious house, free wifi, great location and updated. The long: We came to The island for my best friends wedding and decided that for 5 couples, staying at a house was a smart economical move. Not only was it cheaper than staying in a hotel, it was great! The property was spacious and updated. The Kitchen is a dream and all ten of us fit comfortably around the kitchen table and in the living room. IT was also great that each of the five bedrooms had it's own bathroom. Only downside is that the washer and dryer were inside one of the rooms so that was a bit of an inconvenience. But really we have no complaints. House keeper is amazing. She came every day to clean up. Which was nice. There is wifi and the kitchen is fully stocked. Great property and I can't wait to come back to the island and to the house.

We have high expectations - and we LOVED watercolor!

4 of 5
I recently traveled to Harbour Island for a friend's wedding that was being held at Coral Sands. While most guests stayed at the resort, 5 of us opted for a rental, simply to save on cost. And boy did we get a deal with Watercolor. Watercolor's location is AMAZING. Across the street from the Pigly Wigly market (that has everything from cheese and fruit to gluten free crackers), the Dunmore Deli (a must for a delicious sandwich and/or awesome breakfast), and a duty-free Wine/Liquor shop. The beds were surprisingly quite comfortable - even the murphy bed. We had hot water for our showers (although the boys always opted for the cool outdoor shower). We were a little surprised that the 3rd bedroom was in a detached shed - until we opened it to discover a RAD little bungalow space - also with AC and a great bed. We had plenty of towels, lots of refrigerator space, and the blender was perfect for mid-afternoon roof top daiquiris. We had a petty theft incident from the house on the last night of our stay, but likely because we left the front door open (we were all on the wonderful back patio). Other than that, the house/location feels very secure and safe. We travel a lot and have stayed at some wonderful resorts and hotels, and we were absolutely satisfied with our stay in this lovely home.
