Perfect!

We were 3 couples looking for a rental house with a beach, pool and amazing views! We found exactly that at Sunset Villa!! What we didn't know is that an amazing staff would be part of the deal! Ernie, the property caretaker, was very attentive. He helped us navigate the island and brought us fresh pineapple everyday from his farm. People...you've never tasted pineapple so good. Tracey and Tera cooked and cleaned for us and were super friendly and helpful. Tracey's conch fritters were to die for. The house was well stocked and clean. Very, very comfortable, but what you really need to know is how amazing the rest of the property is. Spacious paradise! Two level pool (right on the beach) with pool house that includes kitchenette and bathroom. The beach is clean and large which made for great swimming. There was a water trampoline which would be fun if kids were on the trip. Plus we took advantage almost everyday in using the kayaks. The water is amazingly clear and calm which made for great kayaking. Recommendations: -Take advantage of Ernie's island knowledge. If you are adventurous, ask him to take you cliff jumping. -Ask Tracey to cook for you during your trip. We asked her to have some appetizers ready for us when we arrived from airport and then had her prepare two meals for us that week. -Snorkeling behind the house at Gaulding Cay was great. You can kayak over or take the path on the side of the house. -Must sees: Queens Bath, Preacher's Cave/Beach, day trip to Horbour Island. -Bonfire-The house has a great fire pit and Ernie will prepare for you. You may want to bring mosquito spray. -The only downfall for us was the ants in the kitchen. Tracey said they are bad in the summer. Bring ant traps and be prepared to put all food in refrigerator. We lost many bags if chips and candy to the ants. :( Our experience at Sunset Villa was great from beginning to end!!!
