Me and my husband loved it! Back this summer!!!

So this past march was our 6 year wedding anniversary. We decided to so something on our own (without our two toddlers haha). We chose Eden cottage because of the location. We have been to Nassau in the past and we were looking for a quieter, more romantic setting. When we arrived we were greeted by Sandra (the owner) at the airport. She was the sweetest woman and remained that way throughout our stay. She gave us a map to the cottage and told us where we can pick up groceries etc. she was very helpful. As for the cottage. It was BEAUTIFUL. It was so quaint and cute. It sits right across the street from the most breathtaking beach that you can imagine. My husband and I spent a lot of time at the beach and at the cute little restaurants just walking distance down the road (You have to try the conch fritters!). The cottage was clean, breezy and met all of our needs. We felt like we were in our own little world! The landscaping is also quite attractive and the neighborhood is such a nice little island town. There were often friendly little kids on the street looking for sea grapes or at the beach playing. One of the locals even taught me how to fish with a hand line one night (I didn't catch anything ha). Anyways if you are looking for a relaxing vacation in a secluded little paradise Eden cottage is the place for you!!! We had zero complaints :) My husband are planning our next trip back this summer!!!!! Thank you Sandra!

A great place for a fabulous holiday.

This cottage deserves a ten star rating as does the whole of Diamonds by the Sea. We stayed there two weeks ago and did not want to leave. The cottage itself was very well kept. It was a home away from home. Had everything to hand that you would have in your own home but with the added bonus of beautiful weather. Shirley the housekeeper was a gem and Gladys the owner was so welcoming. It was a treat to be able to walk off your deck onto the beach which we did every morning before breakfast. A car is advisable to get around. Thank you Gladys for such wonderful surroundings and Shirley you are great . Will definitely be back next year but for a longer period.

Wonderful vacation!!

My husband and I are frequent travelers and this is by far one of the most relaxing places we've ever stayed. Our party consisted of my husband and myself, a baby (celebrating a 1st birthday!!) and 2 grandparents. The Lilac Cottage was absolutely adorable! Its a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath that was very clean, spacious, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. The cottage was pretty much equipped with everything we needed for the week (towels, fridge, toaster, pots, pans, silverware, coffee maker, microwave, cups) and everything was in good working condition. We rented a van for the week as grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping are quite a distance from the cottage. Our first night in town we stopped at Solomons Grocery store and picked up all our essentials for breakfast and lunch and we usually ate dinner out in the town. Despite being quite a distance from the rest of town, the location of the cottage was perfect as it was far away from noise and just yards from the beach. We spent just about every morning walking the short distance to the private beach area to relax and snorkel which was awesome as opposed to having to drive to a beach. Beach chairs, umbrella, and towels were provided which were wonderful. We only got to meet Gladys (the owner of the property) briefly since she was leaving on her family vacation when we arrived but she was very nice and always responded to emails and questions very promptly. The housekeeper and groundskeeper for the property were on site during our stay and were both so friendly and always helpful when we had questions. All in all our vacation was everything we were hoping for and so much more. Its hard to capture the lovely essence of this place in photos but I would recommend this place to anyone and cant wait to return again!!!
