Solitude found at Jasmine

5 of 5
My husband and I have had the amazing fortune of staying at Jasmine many, many times over the last few years. Gail, the homeowner, goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are well-informed for their visit to this lovely get away in paradise. From the moment we first step into Jasmine, we begin to feel the stresses of life disappear. The love, sweat and tears are all evident of Gail's love for Jasmine. There really is no aspect of Jasmine that has been overlooked. An early morning mug of coffee, or tea along with a good book on the screened in porch is an excellent means of relaxation! In the early morning hours before dawn, you can hear the waves roll in and out on the beach beneath Jasmine, which for us is absolute music to our ears! The outdoor shower, along with the privacy of the backyard is the perfect place to de-sand yourself after a day of fun at any of the SEVERAL secluded beaches the island has to offer. The side deck off of the kitchen is extremely convenient when grilling lunch or dinner, not to mention the view of the ocean is breathtaking. Watching the sun rise over the ocean never gets old, whether on the beach or sitting on the screened in porch, it is always mesmerizing. Likewise, sunsets on the Carib side offer a wide variety of the color spectrum. Jasmine is one of those places you visit and don't ever want anyone else to know about because you want to keep the 'secret to yourself'. We fell in love with both Jasmine and the Island of Eleuthera pretty much immediately the first time we visited. Those feelings continue to grow every time we are fortunate enough to make the trip. If you're looking for solitude, a retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle, LOOK NO FURTHER! You've arrived!

Luxury and Relaxation - Beyond Expectations

5 of 5
Being a few steps away from French Leave Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, is only part of the luxury of a vacation at Whel Appointed. Whel Appointed is an incredibly beautiful, functional and luxurious home, with wrap around balconies, private bedroom suites, and views from the living area. The owner, David, provides snorkel gear and beach chairs, making beach time easy and fuss-free, especially with the snorkeling right off the beach – no driving, no tours, only swimming with the breathtaking fish and aquatic life. We became part of Eleuthera for a week - and with David’s recommendations, procured fresh fish, crab, and lobster directly as the fishermen came in, participated in the local Friday Fish Fry and made multiple trips to the organic vegetable gardens. Visitors, townspeople and transplants are welcoming and friendly – adding to an experience that outshines any tropical vacation we have ever taken. Thanks David for sharing this magnificent home!

The Round House

5 of 5
My second trip to Eleuthera and to The Round House, and had an amazing time again. I love the location here secluded yet close to Governors Harbour , its one of my favourite drives on the island the track running along French Leave Beach leading to Casuarina Bay. The position of the house is fabulous, Eleuthera untouched at the rear of the cottage as far as the eye can see and the amazing turquoise ocean just steps from the front door. The interior is specious and comfortable open plan with sliding windows and doors all the way round leading to lots of light and refreshing breezes from the ocean. There is a modern AC unit which cools the house pretty fast at night no need for it during the day.The cottage has also been updated since my stay last year with new kitchen counter tops, stove, microwave, foster oven.I was here on a solo trip but the cottage could easily accommodate two adults and two kids as there is a loft with 2 extra beds. I hope to stay here again in the near future.
