Wonderful, Beautiful, Memorable Family Vacation

5 of 5
Our family had the best vacation ever in the Exumas. Villa # 37 at Hideaways Palm Bay was perfect for us. The upstairs living space was open and inviting. The kitchen was spacious and had what we needed for cooking family meals. The picnic cooler and roll-up beach mats were put to good use. We rented boats from Minns, which we docked right in front of the main area of the Palm Bay property…so convenient. Sea turtles, sting rays, beautiful fish, nurse sharks, swimming pigs, Thunderball Grotto, the huge sandbar…all made wonderful memories for us. The weather was perfect. On Easter Sunday we had a family sunrise service on the beach. The moon was full. We relaxed and enjoyed the Chat N Chill atmosphere on Sunday afternoon. All of it was great! Gorgeous – Perfect – Relaxing – Just Wonderful! Sandi couldn’t have been any more kind or helpful. It’s easy to see why they have so many 5 star reviews. Our family would happily return if we ever have the opportunity. THANK YOU!!! One note - our traveling companions who booked 2 villas through other sites had to move mid-stay because of other bookings. That wasn't convenient but had nothing to do with homeaways or Sandi Sullivan. #37 was great and Sandi was excellent!

Best Christmas vacation yet.

5 of 5
We booked this property for a 10 day stay over Christmas. It was wonderful! The pictures you see here are not filtered in any way, the house is this close to the water, and the water really is that blue!!! Some of our positives: We arrived on Christmas day, meaning no stores were open when we arrived. The sisters made us lunch and had it ready for us when we arrived. The location on Three Sisters beach was beautiful. Perfect sand! The water on this beach is a bit wavy and it is a breezy part of the island. The rooms were comfortable, the porch was a great place to BBQ and hang out, the kitchen was well supplied. Wifi worked well. Cons: Nothing against the house or the owners, it was wonderful! But, beware that there are No Seeums everywhere, and you need to try to prevent bug bites!!!

A Hidden Gem in Paradise

5 of 5
This oceanfront villa was the perfect home away from home on what has to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world. The villa was large, spacious, well-maintained and very clean. It had everything we needed for our week away. The resort pool was great - there were lots of floats and pool/beach toys for our son to use - and it was never crowded. The beach right outside the villa was wonderful but it's worth the 2-3 minute walk to Jolly Hall beach for the beautiful white sand and even more vibrantly turquoise water. The villa location is perfect. Right at the beach, close enough to walk into town, far enough from the music at nearby restaurants (but close enough to eat at the restaurants), and right across the street from a car rental. We didn't snorkel, but we used the kayaks provided by the villa owner daily and saw sand dollars, huge red starfish and lots of fish. We rented a car one day and explored Rolle Town, Little Exuma and the elusive-to-find but oh-so-stunning Tropic of Cancer beach. We also rented a boat in George Town and spent a day exploring the bay and Stocking Island. The villa owner was fantastic with communication, including the response time during the booking process, giving us lots of information on local attractions and checking in with us after we returned home. Thanks for providing us with a wonderful place for our best family vacation ever - we can't wait to come back.
