Elegant Comfort

5 of 5
When you first arrive on this private property drive you know this home is set above vacation home rental. Your first look you can see the attention to detail from the landscape gardens, the circular drive, and exterior lighting shines out elegant and you haven't even started. As you look through the large window and see the pure blue ocean water you feel relaxed and "Hearts Ease" grabs you're heart. The extra large living area has room for all right down to the comfortable beds with it's own shower n soaking tub. There was just 2 of us, we came for rest, and a little adventure. We never made it to all the beaches. The best lunch was "The Front Porch" for Lobster burger, and Rock Crab Claws" the best, and Bill n Brenda's for Island lunch just 2 of our favorites. Hope you can come and see for yourself.

Unforgettable!

5 of 5
Our stay at Pebbles and Eleuthera was simply unforgettable! When we first entered the cottage, our first impression was one of quiet beauty. The beach is just as it pictured on the website, absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the beautiful blue water is priceless! The cottage was clean and offered the modern amenities like WiFi and movie channels and even board games, that we discovered just before we were leaving. The cottage is conveniently located near to Tippys, Banks Rd Deli and the Beachhouse Restaurant. The quietness of the cottage and its surrounding beauty makes it very tempting to just lounge about and listen to the ocean. We will definitely return and recommend Pebbles to our friends who are looking for an escape to paradise!

Beyond expectations!

5 of 5
Website pictures are usually better than reality, but in this case, pictures don't do Desert Rose justice at all. We have traveled quite a bit and have seen some spectacular places, but our stay on Eluethra at Desert Rose was beyond our greatest expectations. Desert Rose truly is private with a stretch of the most beautiful beach you could ever want right out your front door. Like many other guests, we rarely saw anyone on the beach and felt like we owned the whole place. No neighbors homes can be seen from Desert Rose and while secluded and private, we felt quite safe. The island is phenomenal l if you like rest and quiet, gorgeous beaches, friendly people, and that get away from it all feeling. It is not for you if you like nightlife, cozying up to the beach bar and sharing the beach with hundreds of other people. The house itself was perfect for us. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation. The caretaker was in touch with us but not at all intrusive and we lacked absolutely nothing. Definitely need to rent a vehicle and suggest a 4 wheel drive if you want to get to most beaches. Even the road to the house is a bit rough so the higher clearance afforded by a 4 wheel drive is worth it. We knew food would be expensive and perhaps not much variety available and that was the case. A half gallon of milk was $8! In November there was not much fresh produce available but we certainly made do. We brought dry goods with us for breakfasts and lunches and that helped with the expense. But don't miss hitting the local restaurants for some fresh fish and cracked conch! We can't say enough about this place and certainly plan on a return visit.
