We have recently returned from a fantastic trip to Elbow Cay where we stayed at Blue Heaven. We were met by the property manager at the ferry dock and taken up to the property on a golf cart. The house is just as advertised and it is just a beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The beach is beautiful with white sand and a reef that is perfect for snorkeling right out front. In the 11 days we stayed at Blue Heaven we never saw more than a handful of people on the beach so it always felt like we almost had the beach to ourselves. While you are directly on the beach another nice thing is that you are also in the middle of Hopetown so it is a short walk to the coffee shop, restaurants and the small grocery stores. The owners provided a helpful list of restaurant menus, and things to do. We had a great time renting bikes (easy to get all the way around the island on bikes even with a 9 and 11 year old). We also rented a golf cart one day and spent the day at Tahiti Beach. We did a private boat charter with "Captain Plug" which was probably one of our best days. He took us to a deserted island to look for shells, our two boys caught a few fish that we ate that night and we also spent some time snorkeling at one of the national parks. Our best meal was at the FireFly Resort on White Sound (we called ahead and the picked us up with a golf cart). One comment about Elbow Cay that I had seen anywhere before we left is that there are no bank machines on the island and the bank is only open on Tuesday for a few hours. US cash is interchangeable with the Bahamanian currency so I would definitely recommend bringing a fair bit of US cash with you although we found that we could use credit cards for almost anything. Overall we would highly recommend Elbow Cay and can not think of a better place to stay than Blue Heaven.

My wife, teenage son and I just got back from Elbow Cay and the Seascape home. The pictures represent it well. It is right on White Sound and you can swim and snorkel right off the dock and beach. The ocean is across the very small street but was too rough to get in while we were there. The home was clean and has great A/C in the bedrooms. They will cool the home off with doors closed. The home is located toward the south end of the island and is a short golf cart ride to Hopetown, many restaurants and other beaches. We really enjoyed Seaspray Resort and Marina, The Abaco Inn and the Hopetown Lodge. Tahiti Beach, to the South, was a must see. Oh, the back deck and rooftop deck were tremendous. Internet and satellite TV worked fine. We would definitely recommend this very affordable home to anyone.

We've been coming to Hopetown every year for years and we've stayed in many different houses, but nothing like this. We tried renting this house before the original section was completely renovated and the addition of a new custom kitchen and great room were added along with the pool, deck, an lanai. You have done awonderful job and we'll never book anywhere else ever again
