Icredible Vacation!

5 of 5
Our group of 7 had an amazing time at Kataluma. This was our first time in Eleuthera and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Everyone is laid-back and friendly. The house was also welcoming as even though it is gorgeous and spacious, it has a very cozy and relaxed feel. We were all instantly blown away by the house, the view and the attention to detail by the owner. The well-equipped kitchen, comfy rooms with attached bathrooms, heated pool, movie screen, pool table, kayaks and paddle boards, snorkel gear and even plenty of beach towels made for a seamless stay. Aside from the occasional trip to the small grocery store and a few dinners out we didn't want to leave the house. It is a very secluded area and most days we didn't see anyone else on the beach. It's very rare that you have such a beautiful place to yourself. From relaxing and laying out with a good book to combing the beach for shells and coral to kayaking to explore the islands in front of the house, we all had an amazing vacation and can't wait to go back!

Breathtaking

This was our first trip to Eleuthera and it won't be our last staying in Endless Summer. The house is very well stocked with anything you may need. Once you walk in the door and see the view of the ocean you will instantly feel like you are on vacation. Anne, the manager provider, was available anytime we had a question and greeted us on arrival with a nice basket full of items from her produce stand which is only 5 minutes away. We enjoyed the endless movie collection and games that the owners also provided for nighttime entertainment. The water temperature was a little cold but we still snorkeled and used the kayaks a lot during our stay. We took many walks on the beach and passed maybe 5 people during the week we stayed. There is a old ship that sank in the 70's down the beach and we really wanted to snorkel around but never got a chance due to weather. The only thing I wish I would have been more aware of is the cost of food and how hard it is to find meat. We ended up ordering chicken from Banks Road Deli twice during our stay and dined at Tippy's one night. I highly recommend Tippy's!!! Food was wonderful and location on the water makes you in no hurry to leave. Rock Sound has a great grocery store though and I prefer the extra 10 minute drive there than Burrows. We also stopped at what we thought was a gift shop but turned our to be a school supply store. We asked the owner where a gift shop was at and she locked her door and lead us down the street to the right place!!! Wonderful people on this island!!! I can't wait to return :)
