Paradise!

5 of 5
My 2 adult children and I traveled to Magic Sand for a week and were amazed! The home is incredibly private, well appointed and almost luxurious in its furnishings, yet at the same time, homey, warm and very comfortable. We loved the views from both porches and literally felt like we were the only people on the beach! Walking down from Liki Tiki, it was rather lava rocky, but we loved exploring the tide pools,(saw LOTS of hermit crabs!) and a mere few feet down the beach was pristine, pink sand, calm aquamarine water, palm trees and a 10 star beach that we were able to walk to! Perfect! We explored French Leave Beach, saw the Glass Bridge, loved the jerk sauce, bread, pepper jelly and salsa from Island Farms and lunches at Wild Orchid and Beach Club. We did have a few days of rain, but it brought out the most awesome tropical tree frogs! And the crabs were running down the street! Loved it! The sunsets were nothing short of amazing. Sue was awesome with helping with the car.....even helping us when we took a wrong turn! To be totally honest, beware of the no-see-ums. They are brutal. Even with Off bug spray, we all got chewed up pretty bad. We have visited many islands in the Caribbean and according to all 3 of us, this was definitely one of our very favorites! Thank you Hugh!

Seahorse Cottage... a Relaxing Double Bay Retreat

5 of 5
My husband & I spent a wonderful week at Seahorse Cottage. The owners, Mark & Kathy, were attentive & thoughtful prior to & during our stay. The cottage sits on a beautiful property just several feet from beautiful Double Bay beach. The cottage is bright & charming with comfortable furnishings & nice original artwork. We chose to cook most of our meals at the cottage which had a well stocked kitchen & a grill, but there are several wonderful restaurants close by we enjoyed also. The cottage has an indoor shower & a great outdoor shower, a washer & dryer and internet service. We LOVE Eleuthera!!! This was our second visit & it was as fantastic as our first. The locals are some of the friendliest we have met in our travels and the snorkeling is amazing. A car is definately needed to explore the amazing & often secluded hidden beaches on the island. Thanks so much Mark & Kathy for sharing your sweet cottage & the bottle of Prosecco! We miss Bizzy & Bob!!!

Paradise

5 of 5
Talk about getting away from it all - Kataluma is paradise! There is truly something for everyone. My favorite place was the infinity pool and deck overlooking the gorgeous waters of the Atlantic. If you want shade, you can catch the breeze in the tiki hut overlooking the ocean or swim in the back pool surrounded by palm trees and gardens. The house is amazing and beautifully decorated - it feels like a resort! Having the kayaks and paddle boards there is such a bonus! The beach was unbelievable and secluded - we only saw one other family the whole time we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed when cooking in and dinner on the patio was perfect. Can't wait to go back again!
