Looking at those pics makes me want to get back there, soon!
Have been banging the drum about this place since staying there with my family in late July/ early August -- amazing spot as it's right by the beach in a really quiet fishing village and there is absolutely NOTHING on that part of the beach. No developments at all. Just the odd fisherman mending his net in a coracle! Super chilled, and really quiet spot.
The house is really nicely done as the pictures show you better than I can describe -- the big pluses for me are the big garden for kids to muck around in, big dining table for meals outdoors, and a huge low table-bed thingy (lounge or day bed?)for snoozing on! Beds are very comfy and there's AC in the two bedrooms plus free WiFi.
I loved Be's Bungalow as you can cook all your meals -- the family who runs it can get you any groceries you want -- and I am soooo sick of hotels with crappy buffets in Vietnam! One other nice touch -- there was pre-made Vietnamese coffee so I could make my own "ca phe sua da"! A cleaner also came everyday and the family can help with any request should you need something (more wine!).
When you don't want to cook, or make your own coffee, you can just stroll down to the restaurants on the beach (about 400m) where you can find a couple of cool European run places (Soul Kitchen is really cool) and a dozen or more local seafood joints (amazing, cheap seafood). There's even a tiny Italian pizzeria if you have kids in need of some comfort food.
And Hoi An's old town is only 10 mins away by taxi -- its a wee bit touristy there, so we appreciated having our own "exclusive" place to stay by the beach with the option of shooting in by taxi for dinner/ dessert/ drinks etc.
All in all, our favourite spot that we've discovered so far for staying in Hoi An and for what you get, decent value too. Will be back sometime this year for sure.
