OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

5 of 5
We had an absolutely wonderful 2 weeks at Casa Tata. The location was perfect! The apartment was clean, quiet and extremely well-located for our vacation!. It was well furnished with a comfortable bed and big enough to have family and friends over. After a day of sightseeing it is a pleasure to come back to. The kitchen was stocked with Dinnerware, flatware, pots and even a N'espresso machine. Dan and Michal were spot on every time we asked for a recommendation for a local eatery once we could not have one more falafel or shawarma. Getting to anywhere in Tel Aviv is easy from this central location whether you're going to the Carmel Shook(they had a shopping cart to use which came in handy many times), Old Jaffa or the beaches(they supplied a picnic basket we carried with us everywhere). Communication with Dan and Michal was excellent both before and during our stay. The neighborhood can't be beat for walking, people-watching, and eating out. It is perfect for those who like to be able to walk to a large variety of restaurants and shops and have quick and easy access to buses, taxis, banks, currency exchange, groceries, pharmacy, coffee shops and cafes. There is a great park&playground. It is large & shaded with 2 ping pong tables(bring your own playing equipment). The apartment has a washing machine, dryer and a drying rack They supplied washing detergent&softner. Dan and Michal are incredibly helpful. They made sure every item was in tip top working condition and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. Although the apartment location is central we never had trouble sleeping in the apartment. It is quiet. Parking is available at the Dizengoff Center right around the corner. There was a simple set up for entry with a code to enter and lock the apartment. That way we did not have to worry about Dan & Michal being there to let us in & we did not have to worry about losing the key. There is a hot water heater on a timer so you don't have to worry about remembering to turn it off. The apartment is air conditioned. They asked that we would turn it off when we left but it cooled in no time when we turned it on when we returned. Michal and Dan gave us beach towels to use, other towels to use in the dead sea so that the white bath towels will not get muddy & a blanket to spread on the sand at the beach. I can't think of anything I asked for that was not immediately taken care of. Everything was just as is detailed & shown in the picture if not better.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!

5 of 5
Stayed here two weeks in June 2014, and I could not have been happier. The staff members that manage the apartments are all courteous, professional, knowledgeable -- and proud of their property! Place was immaculate, with all the amenities I could ask for, including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Location could not be better: steps from the market (machaneh yehudah), buses, and new Jerusalem light-rail, and a short walk to the city's main pedestrian mall and the Old City. I definitely hope to stay here again!

JUST WHAT I WISHED FOR!!

5 of 5
To address questions asked: The listing description is completely accurate. The location is perfect for walking to transportation, and sites. The layout works well and was a perfect accommodation for myself and my daughter giving us each the privacy we needed. Having a washing machine for a two week stay could not be beat. The house was immaculate. Ken, the owner provided all the information we could have needed regarding restaurants, stores, sites etc.. This was my fifth trip to Japan but in many ways it felt "all new" because we were "living" in the city, and Ken made that possible. I would definitely recommend this property to best friends and relatives. I took this trip to celebrate my 70th birthday and to share it with one of my daughters. We visited fabulous temples many of which are within walking distance, an easy cab, or subway from around the corner. We went to Nara. We went into the surrounding country side which is very quickly amazingly rural and agricultural. We went to markets, and really neat stores. We loved the local pubs including Kura Kura where we returned three times (English menu) and An Gies which has great fish. People were very friendly with banter and we shared tastes of all the dishes. Ken is a food writer and his recommendations after I said what I was looking for were right on. I cannot recommend this property more highly and yes a beautiful small river is right outside the door and although near busy streets, it is a very very quiet area.
