Perfect location for your stay on Aruba

5 of 5
First of all. Thomas (the owner), thank you again for answering all of our questions prior to our stay. I always considered our contact as pleasant. For future guests. It is the house of Thomas and Karin, but they aren't living on Aruba. The company Aruba Happy Rentals takes care of the contact between the owner and the guests during your stay. And they do an excellent job at it. We mentioned that the house could use a drying rack for our clothes. The next day it was delivered. No questions asked. We have booked this house nearly a full month for three adults and two 5-year old boys. With three bedrooms + 3 bathroom, there is enough room for everybody. The livingroom + kitchenarea isn't very spacious, but that doesn't matter. It's perfect for relaxing in the evening. There comes one of the downsides of this house. It doesn't have a big porch in the back or in front of the house. When you look at the photo's, it looks like the swimmingpool is located on the backside of the house. On the backside you can find a shed which contains the washing machine, dryer alongside with some beachchairs and toys for the swimmingpool. Usefull? Absolutely. Nice view? Nope. But who needs that when you have beautiful views everywhere on the island? ;) There are three swimmingpools on the premises. One large one (with a slide) and two smaller ones. You can skip the two smaller ones, but the big one was very nice! It’s located about 70 meters form the townhouse. All the pools have a fence around them. My boys could open the gates themselves, but younger children won’t be able to do so. The depth varies between 0.5 m to 1.8 meters. Our boys learned to swim without floaties there  For the island itself. You definitely need a cart o get around. Yes, the townhouse has four bikes and you can take the bus, but I don’t recommend that. During our stay we have seen a lot of the island and that’s one of the nicest things about the island. You just park your car as soon as you see a nice area, put on your snorkeling gear and explore it all! You have supermarkerts everywhere, but at Superfood (5 min drive) you can find everything you need. Dutch productions along with American products, make this a perfect place for your daily groceries. The beaches I recommend: Baby Beach (my favorite), Outside the reef of Puerto Chiquito, Boca Catalina. I can’t wait to go back to Aruba and this Townhouse will be on the top of my list!
