      A perfect stay

      5 of 5
This little cottage is exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the shared yard for watching the many birds. Tombstone is actually a delightful town and one gets more and more attached to it by the end of our month. Be sure to also visit Fairbank ghost town for birding. Sierra Vista is a short drive for shopping. Only the internet is a bit problematic if you try to connect more than one device. We would love to return.

      Charming Comfortable Home!

      5 of 5
I have stayed in many VRBO rentals over the years and to date, this is the best yet! The home is decorated with charming antiques down to the yummy clawfoot bathtub, yet has all the comfort amenities we need of todays world. Walking in I immediately felt like I was home. Best yet it is just about a 5 minute walk to the OK Corral and Allen Street where you step back into the wild West. When visiting Tombstone we highly suggest dining at Big Nose Kate's Saloon. Incredible melt in your mouth brisket, excellent pulled pork sandwiches, cold beer and great entertainment, not to mention wild west charm. We spent one day in Bisbee which is a short drive from Tombstone. If you have never been in a mine, you should take the Queen Mine Tour. You ride a little tram 1500' into the mountain. It is quite educational and a fun experience. I am a bit claustrophobic and it didn't bother me at all. We had lunch at Santigos in Bisbee. While the service was mediocre, the chili relleno's were the best I have had. Growing up in San Diego, that is saying something. If you get a chance try their mango chili margarita! Yum!! We also toured Kartchner Caverns which are amazing. They have done a fabulous job of preserving the Caverns so they do not die as Carlsbad Caverns has. Very educational tour on what we do to our environment. Another must see! For fellow shutterbugs, lots of incredible scenery for great shots, especially sunrise at the desert! Thanks Liz for providing such a wonderful home to stay in! We are looking forward to coming back with friends in the near future. Still so much to see and do!!
