Absolutely Perfect!

5 of 5
I stayed here for four nights in March. We arrived late at night and the owners graciously offered for us to follow them to the house, so we didn't get lost. The house exceeded my expectations. It is absolutely perfect! The house is very clean, well maintained, and beautiful. We loved all the kitchen supplies and enjoyed the fireplace. There is plenty of firewood available. Basically, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay the best it can be. The house is a quick drive to Sedona. We did Doe Mountain and Cathedral Rock hike and also rented a Jeep (Barlow Jeep Rentals), so we could explore around at our own pace. We went to the Honanki Ruins. We also did a trip to Grand Canyon (only a 1hr 45 min drive). Our trip was wonderful and staying here was a highlight of the trip. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable Stay

5 of 5
We were a little concerned about the owners being in the back house since we have had some issues at other places we have rented with owners dropping by unannounced, but we had no issues here. We were welcomed when we arrived and given some good tips about the area and then we were left alone for the rest of our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet. We even saw a family of deer walking through the neighborhood one night. We were quite comfortable in the casita.

Cozy cabin perfect for exploring Red Rock country, great for kids

5 of 5
We stayed in this lovely cabin the last week of 2012. It was perfect for our family with 3 kids - 7, 5, 2. The ample outside space allowed the kids to practice their soccer skills every day. The kitchen was well-stocked and the heater worked very well. We loved the breakfast table with the great view of Cathedral Rock. We saw a rather large coyote on our drive back to the cabin one evening. The owner Marcia recommended the Heartline Cafe where we had a delicious four course Christmas dinner. On the last day it snowed and was absolutely gorgeous. Nice selection of reading material and games. Sedona is a lovely town and a great base for exploring the area. We did several nearby hikes and went to the mining town of Jerome for a day. We also visited Walnut Canyon, Tuzigoot and Montezuma castle national monuments all of which have ancient Indian dwellings. The older kids were proud of the Junior Ranger park badges they earned. We never turned on the TV or used the iPad the whole week! We stayed in a few hotels following our stay in Sedona and we really missed the extra space and privacy the cabin provided.
