Having previously stayed in the adjoining Villa Blanca, our expectations were high. Erica has impeccable taste, a designer eye, and an appreciation for these historical houses in the charming Sam Hughes area of Tucson. Blanca Pajaro far exceeded those expectations. The more updated kitchen was a welcome surprise. We found we stayed in to cook rather than go out in order to use the great stove and because it was so gratifying just to be there and entertaining was a breeze. This doesn't feel like a rental, because it is beautifully decorated yet amazingly comfortable. While there isn't a dishwasher, the kitchen has virtually everything you could need. In fact, throughout the house, there is nearly everything you could need.
The king size bed is excellent and we were never disturbed by street noise. There is also a garage which would be particularly welcome for parking in the summer. We enjoyed dining on the patio which is very comfortable.
The location is convenient to everything. It's close enough to walk to the UofA yet not be disturbed by its noise and traffic (hint: take back streets if there's an event). There are so many great things to do in Tucson and Erica has provided excellent recommendations. I'm from Tucson and visit several times a year and Erica suggested things that were new to me.
In all, if you're going to be in Tucson, do put yourself in Erica's capable hands.
