Wonderful Home in the mountains

5 of 5
My wife and I spent a month at this wonderful home near the top of the mountain. The house is great. Expansive, well maintained and well furnished, very comfortable and kid friendly. Our daughter, her husband and their 2 year old came up from Phoenix on weekends and loved being there. Mirandy and Mike, the owners, were incredibly responsive to any questions or requests. The views are magnificent and it's just a great place to relax in. The only challenge is the ride up the dirt road once you leave Senator Highway. The owners directions and suggestion to have a 4 wheel vehicle were spot on. We had a 6 cylinder SUV with 4 wheel drive and had no issues at all. But it is an interesting ride up to the house so if you're skittish about heights, this may not be your ideal rental. For us it worked out perfectly and we cannot say enough positive things about the owners and how they care for their guests. Definitely one of, if not, the best rentals in the Prescott area.

Love this cabin!!

5 of 5
We really had the best of times while visiting the cabin. My husband, 6yo daughter and dog arrived after dark which was a bit tough with the dirt roads but the directions were great and we found our way easy enough. Once we got settled we were so happy about the peace and quiet. We didn't see anyone for the first 2 days which is exactly what we were after!! The cabin was clean and in great condition and we can't wait to go back! The views during the days as well as the stars at nighttime was breathtaking!

Cozy cabin close to town.

5 of 5
Very cute and comfortable with everything you need but clothes and food. Clean and well kept. Really only 5 mins from the center of town but feels like your out in the woods. Forest views from each window, very relaxing. We even saw about a dozen javelina walk through the yard. We visited the day after Christmas and stayed nice and warm in front of the fireplace at night. The queen bed was very comfortable and had plenty of comforters and a electric blanket to keep us nice and toasty. When we didn't feel like cooking we popped into town and had our choice of Prescotts finest dining right there, we enjoyed Murphys and the Lone Spur Cafe and Iron Springs Cafe. During the day we walked the dogs to the nearby park or through the wooded neighborhood, or went exploring in town. Don't miss the museums here, they are very well done especially Sharlot Hall. A very enjoyable couple of days.
