Awesome from sunrise to sunset!

5 of 5
We were impressed from the second we walked in. This house was exactly as described. The beauty of the lake alone, is a vacation. The property has been nicely updated. It is very well maintained and CLEAN. They also have a property manager (Dobbs) for any concerns (not that we had any). This guy is a gem that we thoroughly enjoyed meeting. We had a large group with older kids and also a 1 & 3 year old. The house had a pack n play and a highchair which was an added convenience. We also appreciated the added safety of a gate on the deck to avoid tumbles down the stairs and access to the lake for the wee ones. The fully equipped bonus bunk suite is perfect for a family, a group of singles or teens. The owners really did an excellent job making this renter friendly. We had a great time walking around, fishing (yes we caught fish), canoeing and enjoyed fires at night. The only complaint we all had is wishing we stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your home!

Beautiful Pinetop Cabin!

5 of 5
My husband and I just spent a long weekend at this lovely Pinetop cabin. Our two college age children were with us and there was plenty of room for rest and relaxation. The house is beautiful, clean, well organized and had absolutely everything we needed. We cooked in the kitchen numerous times and found it fully stocked with all necessary kitchenware. The cabin has gorgeous windows allowing nice views from every room. The decor is adorable and the furniture and bedding are very comfortable. The heater fans in both bathrooms are amazing! The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood. The only sound we heard all weekend was the wind blowing gently through the pine trees.

Big space, great location!

4 of 5
Stayed here Feb 25-29 with 2 adults and 6 kids ages 13-16. Overall house is dated but it is kept very clean. We had a great stay overall due to spaciousness, location and awesome game room. Pros: house is spacious and comfortable and owner is very nice and accommodating. Beds were pretty comfortable and location is great. Wifi worked ok, better downstairs than upstairs. House is well stocked with towels and sheets and there was just enough TP, some napkins, basic utensils, dishes, etc. Game room was awesome for the four 13 year old boys we had with us. They loved that room but would have preferred to have a TV in there and they didn't have to share TV with the parents at night. Cons: TV in guest room did not work - not connected and no TV in game room for kids. Coffee maker didn't work which we found out the first morning we were there. Owner said we should buy one in town and he'd reimburse us but never got around to it so went all weekend w/o coffee (boo hoo). Two burners on stove stopped working second day and downstairs toilet stopped up that day as well (couldn't fix with plunger). Bummer having to share two bathrooms among 8 of us for even a day but owner had his plumber come out next day and he fixed both the toilet and burners. Sadly he couldn't fix coffeemaker. We could not find any extra blankets and some of us were cold at night and we would have liked blankets to wrap around us when sitting downstairs at night as it got chilly and heat was not adjustable. . Kitchen also lacking in fundamentals; terrible knives if you are preparing dinner, just one old cutting board, no glassware to microwave anything and just two plastic bowls for serving food and pots are old and Teflon very scratched which is not safe to use - they need to be replaced. We had 8 people and needed some bigger serve ware to put out food. Also table has just 6 chairs but we brought some in from outside and we all fit fine. Garage could fit two cars one in front of the other but we had issues with the garage door opener and opted to park outside. Would stay here again if we are heading up there with a bunch of boys again as they really appreciated the game room, but would bring more cooking utensils to make dinner preparation easier and more enjoyable.
