First Grand Canyon Exploration

5 of 5
This was our first Grand Canyon trip and our first time in Arizona - from Alabama. We wanted to stay in a home rather than hotel since we were traveling with our daughter and son in law. We love the outdoors and natural woods environment. We enjoyed seeing so many different forms of wildlife. We saw antelope, elk and very large jack rabbits! This vacation home more than met our expectations. I searched extensively to find the perfect place online and our entire family was so pleased. The home was immaculate. Since we were traveling via air we were limited with what we could bring so it was so nice to find the pantry stocked with so many extras! I forgot to purchase coffee filters at the store and Merrie even had filters already there! No need to bring a hair dryer either. There were plenty of linens - extra blankets, pillows and towels. The home was in a good location for traveling to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Sedona. We also went to Page one day for a rafting trip through Glen Canyon. That was a bit longer drive, but well worth it!! The drive into Williams is only about 15 minutes and there are several shops and restaurants there. We only found one grocery store - Safeway, but they had everything we needed, even a pharmacy and Starbucks! The owners were great to work with and responded promptly to each email. I would definitely recommend this home and we would absolutely stay here if we are ever in AZ again!

Clean and kid friendly.

5 of 5
The property was perfect for what we wanted. It was vey clean and the directions to it were easy to follow. It was nice to have space for the kids to run around and they loved the tree house and swings. The owner was super thoughtful with her welcome basket, especially the smores kit. We did enjoy a night by the campfire roasting marshmallows and eating smores. Thanks again for providing this beautiful home

Great Getaway home. Well stocked kitchen (pantry, utensils, appliances). We love to prepare our meals on vacation and this place was perfect for that. The property was clean and well maintained. Lots of birds and wildlife. Treat yourself....visit "Sweet Getaway".
