My wife and I, along with our adult son, drove out from Los Angeles to enjoy a week in this amazing vacation spot. The weather was warm and clear during January of 2014 so we could enjoy the wonderfully landscaped grounds, pool and hot tub, right outside our back door. It's all brand new and we were the very first to enjoy it. We live in the northeast USA so it was nice to experience this fantastic southwest villa on the very edge of the open desert. Riding mountain bikes through Usery Mountain Regional Park- just down the street- was a real treat. Beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains to the east and day trips took us to even more dramatic sceney, as well as to Tuscon. Plenty of wilderness to explore and downtown Phoenix, of course, is only thirty minutes away. The perfect combination of urban areas and the wide open spaces of the wild west. A luxury experience inside and outside the villa! Being here is even better than the photos indicate. It was difficult to tear ourselves away from this beautiful oasis just to go out and explore the hills and canyons. The house is spotless and well furnished. As an architect, I appreciated the southwest design and decor. High ceilings throughout and everything we needed for preparing a meal was available in the huge kitchen- groceries bought at nearby supermarkets. The owners, Kevin and Stacy, were living in an adjacent building on site so were instantly available to offer tourist advice and answer any questions. They have created the perfect vacation paradise in the desert.
