My first impression of the property upon arriving was different than the morning after. We had driven 15 hours the first day, and 9 hours the day of arrival. I was tired, and my expectations were easily-satisfied as long as there was somewhere to stretch my legs and rest.
I admit to being fairly drowsy the first night, and the sheer beauty of the entire place, the cabin included, didn't sink in until the first morning, where I was woken up by a view of the sunrise and a group of hummingbirds drinking from their feeders outside the window.
The craftsmanship of the cabin was very impressive! Being from the city, it was the first time that I found staring at the wall before falling asleep to be very relaxing. The furnishing and personality to the cabin was wonderful, and even though I didn't expect we would use or need it very much, the food pantry was very helpful and we found ourselves buying fewer things to eat than during our typical vacations.
The cabin was very neat, and we did our absolute best to keep it that way and respect the lovely art and decor!
After purchasing proper footwear for it, we spent hours exploring the 30 acres of the property every single day that we were there, whether it was early in the morning to see the sunrise, or late at night to hear the coyotes howl. The sights were lovely, and we didn't have to leave the property to see that.
Everything was almost exactly as described - just better.
I would not only recommend this to someone, but I would love to return there myself someday soon.
