AWESOME GETAWAY!! PERFECT LOCATION!

5 of 5
This was the perfect answer to a needed getaway for some down time and a low key birthday celebration! Location was perfect. Air was clean and fresh. Quiet and peaceful. The mountain views were amazing! The night skies were perfectly clear. I had forgotten how breathtaking the Milky Way is. We spent a few days decompressing. We grilled steaks on the grill. We went for walks. Seligman wasn't too far away for a meal here and there. Kitchen was super convenient for preparing breakfast. The cabin was well stocked. The caretakers were amazing. We had a birthday card with warm wishes and a bottle of wine waiting!! It was so much more than we expected. We had a great time and planning on returning!

Fantastic place to stay.

A great place to stay on a family trip to the Canyon. Stargazing in the evening was amazing. The ranch is well equipped, Maxine and Bob have thought of everything that you will need during your stay. Our 2 night stay was not long enough.

Very nice!

The home is 2.5 miles from the nearest paved road and offers a lot of quite and privacy. It's clean, comfortable and a great place to relax when not exploring the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It's off the grid so expect to crank up the generator in the evenings. The batteries last a few hours after sundown but if you want the refrigerator to run all night and lights when you get up in the morning then expect to run the generator for an hour or two in the evenings to keep the batteries from completely discharging. The generator is well maintained, has an electric starter and is easy to start. We spent most of our time at the south rim and were glad to get away from the crowds in the evenings.
