Perfect for a quality family vacation!

          5 of 5
This is the place we chose to spend our family vacation, since we had been here before, so I was surprised by the few reviews on this site that reported issues. We found the home to be exactly what we had remembered, and Trish to be just as accommodating if not more so. This home is very comfortable and clean, with nice updates and ammenities. It is decorated especially nice to represent this area, with local pictures, wonderful quilts on the very comfortable beds and a great deck to watch the extrodinary sunsets from. All appliances were working great, and it was spacious enough for our very large group. Most importantly, we found this home to be one of the cleanest we have been in. It is a country location, you most likely will see wildlife and beautiful skies, rather than mobs of people, however, this location puts you very close to all the action happening in not only the Grand Canyon, but Williams and Flagstaff as well. If you are looking for quality family time, convenience, and room to play, the lodges on the rim cannot begin to compare, and will cost so much more. And, with this home, you will feel welcome and as if you have your own special guide, since Trish has lived in this area for years and was very helpful and knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for day outings both on and off the beaten path. Thanks Trish, we truly had a great time and will continue to return again and again, as well as recommend this location to our friends.

          NAU Graduation

          4 of 5
This house was as describe re: location, layout and amenities. To our pleasant surprise there was some baby things we could use such as a high chair, a pack-n-play bed, and a baby swing. We had a 6 1/2 month baby with us and those items really helped with our stay. The property was very clean but,I don't feel it was well maintained. There is a few things, albeit minor, such as scratched floors, doors that didn't shut properly, hole in wall in MBDR where door knob hits wall, light in stairway not working, which was a bit unnerving a few times, dirty carpet, drain in MBDR draining slow, outdoor furniture old and torn. These things were very minor to our stay as we had a fabulous time with our family. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and relatives as any minor imperfections were not detrimental to our stay. I felt the owner was not very communicative and was very short with his responses; again, not detrimental to our stay. We did have a fabulous time with our friends, family and NAU graduate and were actually very pleased with the house.
