The apartment is located in the heart of San Telmo. Within immediate striking distance is a picturesque square, a great market/antique bizaar, dozens of great restaurants, and artsy shops and boutiques. Also just a few blocks from the apartment was my favorite site in the City, the Museum of Contemporary Art. Also two blocks away was the best meal I had in all of Argentina— El Baqueano a fixed price six course meal featuring local meats. For a newbie to Buenos Aires, as I was, the location of this apartment in central San Telmo was a great base of operations. If you are the walking type, it is possible to get to just about anywhere— Puerto Madero was nearby, so too was Micro Centro.
Another major perk to the apartment is the spectacular roof top. The roof is accessed directly from the second floor of the apartment and is one of the tallest buildings in the vacinity. From the roof one can experience the full energy of the City. Great sunset view!
The owner was incredibly helpful providing local sites to visit. Also, the owners of the neighboring apartment were friendly and welcoming.
