Magical

5 of 5
If you've never visited Buenos Aires or you're returning because you love this city, this apartment is the place to stay. I can honestly say the pictures do it no justice. It's fantastic. It's everything you need and more. The location is superb and very safe. The price is phenomenal for all that you get. San Telmo is the heart of Buenos Aires and this apartment is in the heart of San Telmo. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and grocery stores all around you within walking distance. And some of the best cafes and restaurants in Buenos Aires. The Sunday market of San Telmo is literally two blocks away. A fabulous lady named Graciela comes with this apartment too. She's has a wealth of information about San Telmo and Buenos Aires. Trust her with everything. My vacation was so much richer because of her. If you're looking in San Telmo don't hesitate about this apartment. Jeff

Excellent Location and More

5 of 5
Our group of six adults spent two weeks living in this lovely apartment. It occupies the top floor and is quiet and spacious. High ceilings and equally high windows fill the living space with light. We cooked dinners in the kitchen and dined at the dining room table. The fireplace provided warmth and plenty of seating when we returned from adventures in the cool of the Buenos Aires winter. Each couple also had their own bedroom and bathroom so privacy was easily guaranteed. The apartment had everything we needed, including blow dryers and an iron. The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed living in San Telmo. The neighborhood has restaurants both for coffee or lunch and for excellent dinners. The best meals we had in the city were in restaurants within easy walking distance from the apartment. It is also very close to Porto Madero where some of us walked and some ran every morning without the worry caused by traffic. San Telmo contains antique shops, museums, a wonderful market, grocery stores, and all that we needed for our everyday needs. Finally, we rented the apartment largely because the reviews noted the assistance of Ruben. None of us speak Spanish and were a bit nervous about that. Ruben was actually out of the country during our stay. His substitute, Andy, was fabulous. He not only answered every question, helped us arrange travel outside of the city, accompanied us on those travels when we requested, but he also listened carefully to our individual interests and help us explore those. The owner was also tremendously helpful as we planned for the trip and was clearly invested in our having a successful trip.

Lovely refuge in a fine location.

5 of 5
This fine and spacious apartment is nestled in a lovely little gated passageway between two streets in a very convenient location. Comfortable bed, air conditioning in the bedrooms, and a large, artistically-decorated living and dining space gave us a feeling of being at home after a long day exploring the nearby neighborhoods. Our hosts were very helpful with orienting us to the city, and even helped coordinate the return of a delayed bag from the airline. This is a place to which we'd love to return.
