DREAM HOUSE

5 of 5
When we found this house we had no idea how amazing it was. It was wonderfully furnished and each bed was more comfortable than the next, the views from the bedrooms make sure there are no "bad" rooms. This made it much easier and comfortable. Every appliance, fixture and piece of furniture is top of the line and new. Comfortable living room sofas and chairs, soft comforters on the beds, resort-standard towels, the working living room fireplace, etc. They don't "skimp" on most things that other rental houses do. They provide everything you need, hand soap and other toiletries. There are plenty of towels and the closet space is great. The kitchen is a joy and fully functioning, and we also had the most serviceable maid who prepared delicious meals for us. Also, the heated indoors-outdoor swimming pool is huge! It's an amazing thing to be swimming in or out doors with such a perfect view. The Jacuzzi is also a very nice addition. It is perfect for après ski after a day spent on the Cerro Catedral. I will absolutely stay here again if I have the chance, it was a dream house.

Great stay at Casa Al Reves: 258563

5 of 5
This beautiful home was exactly as described on the website as was the Arelauquen Resort. It was very well equipped and maintained, and overseen by a very capable House Manager and Maid. The house has beautiful views and plenty of space and privacy for a large group. The extra perks of the sauna, hot tub and a wonderful indoor/outdoor grill were much appreciated. The owner was very helpful as we navigated the challenges of the closing of the Bariloche Airport for our arrival (the airport reopened during our stay) and a couple of other hitches on the resort, as well as giving us good recommendations on local restaurants etc. The Arelauquen Golf course was very pretty - most golfers seemed to walk. Local supermarkets were fine - there is one just outside of the resort. Driving in the town of Bariloche is "interesting" !! with lots of one way streets. It is easier to find a car park than try and find a space on the street. There are lots of activities around for all tastes - a visit to the Hotel Llao Llao is a must, and the one day bus/boat tour to Puerto Montt (although long) had the most gorgeous scenery. Good for a first step on the way to Santiago. We would certainly recommend this home to future renters.
