awsome apartment, amazing view !!!

5 of 5
We loved the apartment - it¹s right in the centre, has everything you need and is very luxurious the deal even includes a local cellphone so you can make reservations at local restaurants, which are fantastic. the best in town. The phone needed topping up when we arrived, but Fabrizio our host was very efficient and got it working in no time. He also showed us around the "barrio" and where to shop and eat and drink and dance and was great fun. We cooked supper on several occasions and invited Fabrizio and Anabela and had a great time. There is a great coffee maker and breakfasts on the terrace are fun. Chris, Basingstoke

A superior apartment in sophisticated Recoleta

4 of 5
Our flight to BA was fifteen hours and we arrived at the apartment within five minutes of our arranged checkin time. Cris was waiting on the sidewalk to greet us- this level of organization and service was typical of our entire experience with this rental!! At no time before during or after our stay did we feel anything than 100% satisfied with the attention to detail and the level of service. The apartment is well appointed, bright and supplied with all the necessary equipment, bedding etc. for a completely self catered stay, should one wish to go that way. Location is perfect,on a quiet street, within easy distance of several bakeries, grocery stores and of course wine purveyors. Restaurants are close by, we found Los Pinos a great bet.The apartment is in a well established building and noise is not a problem. Throughout our stay communication with the rental team was only an email or phone call away. The response time was immediate and they were always extremely helpful. If there was one negative,it was that the floors, kitchen and bathrooms needed a 'good scrubbing'; the owners were made aware of this and we have absolute confidence that there will be an improvement in this area - one get's the impression that the organization does what it says and genuinely appreciates and reacts to feedback. You would do well to seriously consider this rental. Ideal for four adults or a family of four. The courtyard in the back of the apartment is very secure and so is ideal for children/adults to hang out.

Recoletta Refuge

5 of 5
We stayed a month at Virginia's place in Recoletta. While we could have rented a cheaper accommodation, we wanted the reassurance of friend's recommendation. Virginia was very efficient, informative and provided convenient support for our arrival, having arranged for pick up at the airport and a contact to help us dealing with local matters. Our first time in South America and with little to no spanish, her Contact Augusto helped us and coordinated everything for us. The apartment was as described in the profile, no bad surprises. When we arrived there was cold Champagne in the fridge, Red wine in the rack and coffee ready for the next morning.Right away we were welcomed home. The apartment is furnished like a home not an empty condo rented to generate cash. The library had a plethora of guide books and an outstanding book about the apartment, the neighbourhood etc. On our first night we sat outside on the terrasse and enjoyed the special privilege of a private inside court in a city of 15 million people. During our stay we visited and stayed in other cities in Argentina, and it helped us appreciate how special "our place in Recoletta" was. Coming back after roaming around for a week, we were so happy to come home.Enjoying our favourite cafe, booking a performance at the majestic Theatro Colon, hopping on the Sub-t for a day shopping trip in Tigre. Our concerns over safety had vanished. We adapted to the pace of the city, walking to dinner at 9Pm, getting up late and enjoying the amazing cool morning and evening weather. All along we congratulated ourselves on the wisdom of our choice of apartment. Never thought we could say we could say: "we have a place in Buenos Aires", and as long as Virginia agrees to let us have it.... we will.
