Absolutely amazing!

Breathtaking is the word we’d use to describe Sand Castle House! We vacationed here with our three adult children and can’t say enough about the property and the location, most notably the stunning infinity pool and the beautiful beach and bay, where sailboats anchor and sunsets dazzle. It was what drew us to this house and we were not disappointed. We highly recommend renting paddle-boards: the bay is perfect for it. The home itself is well equipped with all the amenities and with an outdoor covered area with plenty of comfortable seating, you may not want to leave to see anything else on the island. (If you do want to plan outings, try a boat or jeep tour. Both operators picked us up at our door and we had a great time seeing Antigua both from land and from water.) Simone, the property manager of Sand Castle, is wonderful, always available for questions and assistance - even assisting us with an unforeseen medical event – and along with her staff, we were made to feel welcome and taken care of during our entire trip. Our only disappointment was that we did not book a longer stay. We highly recommend Sand Castle and hope to return soon!

PRIVATE OASIS

5 of 5
Just returned from a most wonderful week at the Gordon House. Thanks Gregory Gordon for sharing this wonderful property, thanks Amanda for making the booking process seamless, and to Marilyn, for showing us the real beauty of the Antiguian people. There are many reasons to love the Gordon House. The privacy, the views, the house itself is spacious and charming. I, along with my 2 sisters and mother, felt completey safe all week. The kitties, Carribean and Wadadli, are a wonderful addition as well. They made us laugh every day, and also provided a practical side. The house is virtually bug free thanks to those cats. We cooked for ourselves, and Marilyn came every other day to tidy things up (laundry etc). We shopped at Island Provisions which is on the road from the airport, so we stocked up with food etc before heading to the house. We paid $600US to rent a vehicle for the week, but don't expect a new vehicle. The brakes were loud, but it served us well all week. We were able to swim directly off our property at all times of the day and felt completly safe as it is in a bay not exposed to open ocean. Long bay beach is a 5-6 walk down the road and even my 75 year old mother had no problem navigating the one hill. This beach is great for all ages, gorgeous white sand and gentle waters as well. We took one afternoon to explore St John's, but really couldn't wait to get back to Gordon House. Highly recommend the Gordon House for anyone looking for peace, privacy and getting to know the real Antigua.

Great location

5 of 5
Having spent 10 weeks in Antigua at another villa, we spent our last 5 days in Blue Moon, and it was a wonderful way to end our visit. We rented the highest point villa, with a magnificent view of Galleon Beach and the ocean, with its boats and yachts. We especially enjoyed the sunsets, sipping cocktails on the terrace. We experienced the Jacuzzi our first night, and it was very enjoyable. The villa was especially quiet, except for some construction during the days, some noise from the beach where the sounds resonate in the enclosed bay, and Shirley Heights on Sunday afternoon. The layout of the Villa is very well thought out, with the only exception being for the small refrigerator in the kitchen, requiring use of the larger fridge located near the Jacuzzi and bbq. The master bed, sheeting and netting is very comfortable, especially when compared to some of our recent experiences in the Caribbean. Since we are accustomed to AC, we missed it mostly in mid to late afternoon, and sleeping at night, very hot and humid at times. The owners can be complimented for their kindness and attention provided during our stay. We have no hesitation in recommending these villas for a wonderful holiday experience.
