Lovely condo very close to town

5 of 5
What a lovely condo! Gracie's Place is clean and so convenient to Canmore's downtown - we could walk to dinner each night, walk to the grocery store, etc - the only time we took the car out was to drive to skiing. With sub-zero temps, we appreciated the underground parking, too. The condo had everything our family of five needed, including kitchen essentials so we could cook dinner in on some nights when the kids were tired. The back bedroom is far enough away from the living room that adults could stay up with the TV on while young children sleep. Appliances were all new (so thankful for in-unit laundry) and the furnishings were up-to-date. We loved Grace's artwork on the walls as well. This is a can't-go-wrong choice.

Perfect Location - Excellent Vacation Apartment

5 of 5
We just returned from a fantastic two-week husband & wife summer getaway in the Canadian rockies. The mountains were high, the air was pure, the water was clear, and the Alpine Suite was excellent. The apartment location was perfect - two blocks off the main street of Banff Avenue. We could walk to the grocery store, to restaurants, to shops, to the art centre, to concerts in the park, to church, to the Bow River, and to the Tunnel Mountain trailhead. Before booking the apartment, we had two firm requirements - high-speed internet and a good bed. Check. Check. Plus the apartment was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, table & chairs, sofa, washer & dryer, etc. Can't think of anything that was missing. An added bonus was the friendliness of Marie-Pierre and Gordon with their unique history and knowledge of the entire region. Our apartment was cozy and private, but Marie-Pierre and Gordon were accessible and more than willing to answer questions when we asked. For us there could not have been a better place to stay for our two-week getaway in Banff. I highly recommend the Alpine Suite!
