Nicely decorated, beautiful views!

5 of 5
We spent 4 nights at the Knoll house during our two week trip to Alaska and this was our favorite of the accommodations. It's too stinking cute for words! We hadn't seen many pictures of Knoll before we arrived but were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The house was well appointed, well cared for, decorated very nicely and was very welcoming. We enjoyed the views too! A previous reviewer complained about limited water during their stay...at check in Norman explained to us that they have a water tank to provide water and that he is happy to get more water whenever you need it, but please be conservative. We were 5 people, 4 nights and we never ran out! If you are environmentally conscious this is a non-issue. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day to see the northern lights! I wouldn't hesitate to book here again! My only suggestion would be to add a good mixing bowl & measuring cups to the kitchen....I think those were the only two items I needed but couldn't find - they very well could have been there and I just overlooked them. A hair dryer would have also been a nice addition :) Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we had a lovely time!

Lovely!

The home is absolutely beautiful and the hosts very gracious. The views are wonderful. We are long-time Alaskans from Anchorage and brought our 30-year nephew to Homer for a first-time visit. He loved it. Although the property is located a little distance from the Spit, it's very close to our favorite restaurant in Homer - The Homestead. And the benefit of being away from the "Spit" is the quiet beauty and enjoying it all on the back patio. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a quality stay in Homer.
