Delightful place to stay

5 of 5
The guesthouse is a one bedroom, older duplex, and has been well taken care of and has most everything you would possibly need during your stay. Michele has not scrimped on the supplies, loved the fluffy towels and nice bedding. Would definitely stay here again if the situation arises. The location is near a small airport but we hardly ever heard the planes and since there are three airports in Anchorage, you are not going to get away from some plane noise anywhere.

Amazing

5 of 5
This trip was my choice for a graduation present from my parents and I couldn't have been happier. The house was impeccable. Eagles flying everywhere, seals here and there, one morning we even had a humpback whale breach 40 ft out of the water! We were able to rent kayaks from Ray and Kathy and were on them every day. We caught pinks and silvers off of them and even halibut! I knew it was going to be an awesome trip but I totally underestimated it! The house was perfect inside and out, there were even staple foods that Ray and Kathy had went ahead and bought for us to have at the house. If you're looking for not only a beautiful place to vacation at but the best house to do it in, look no further than hidden cove. You will not be disappointed!!!

Fantastic stay in Homer

5 of 5
We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this home in Homer. The home has a very warm, relaxing and welcoming feel about it. Myself, husband and 3 boys really enjoyed it and didn't want to leave. We stayed for 4 nights. The home is well stocked with everything you need - including some great spices. The owner Kent was really welcoming and is happy to share info about the area. He has lots of brochures in the house which is very convenient. The home had plenty of space for all of us and the views really were incredible. We saw sandbill cranes everyday and some moose came wandering up the driveway one evening. Guests will need a car as it is a little bit outside of town - about 15 minutes. We found it very convenient and liked this location better than town as a place to stay after hiking and fishing all day. The only thing that could make it any better is on site laundry but the local laundromat was nice and not a big deal to use. Thanks Kent for opening your home to us.
